The hotel was excellently located to the airport and provided the shuttle service necessary to our return trip. The lovely and extremely pleasant and accommodating young lady at the front desk made our arrangements to be picked up at 5 a.m. Unfortunately, the driver did not arrive until 20 minutes after 5. The late shuttle arrival caused us much anxiety as we attempted to secure other transportation so we would not miss our flight. Several calls made by the front desk urging the shuttle to arrive were useless. It appears the shuttle driver often runs late and this information should be offered to hotel guests so that they might make earlier arrangements with the shuttle to compensate accordingly. In spite of the lateness of the shuttle, the driver got us to the airport in time to make our return flight which was running a bit late as well. The only other criticism would be of the hall carpets that desperately needed to be cleaned or replaced. In my room critique, I noted the wallpaper in the bathroom needed to be repaired or replaced on one wall, and the window curtain needed the pulling rod replaced - it sat in the corner of the wall near the desk. All of the above having been said, our room was very comfortable and the bed was exceptional. We had a microwave, iron, dryer, etc. and the hotel had an indoor pool. The room rate was very reasonable and the staff pleasant. I would not hesitate to recommend it....the negatives I mentioned are easily remedied or can be ignored by the room occupant since the positives of the actual room and service outweigh the things noted for repair or maintenance.
