The original room allocated to us did not have openings apart from the entrance door, which meant that we had to have artificial light on at all times , which I found unacceptable as it felt to be buried alive. The hotel check in lady just repeated that they had 7 room types and that we had chosen a standard room, which is ridiculous because guests should be warned that 'standard' rooms, which are acceptable in terms of spaciousness , have no openings. The manager who intervened also had the same ridiculous attitude - stating that photos of he rooms were on their website - but I replied that their website did not mention that the rooms had no daylight. After 2 days we were given a much nicer room with a small balcony and we were happy with this. Pity because the resort is very good in all other areas, and we enjoyed the stay very much.
