    Verified Stay

    Very Relaxing Stay

The hotel is located on the northwest side of Kyoto and the 20 minute journey on the train is well worth it to escape from the busy noisy town after a days sightseeing. One is greeted in Arishiyama with fresh air, a lovely river and interesting walks, its very own temple and much more. The accommodation is very comfortable and the staff are superbly helpful even if one can't speak a word of Japanese! We very much liked the relaxed bungalow style of the hotel with view of the lovely garden. We would highly recommend this hotel to travelers who like to have a bit of peace and relaxation during their travels.
