The hotel offers a great location in Paris, very close by a central Metro station Les Halles. Easy walking distance to the Louvre and reasonable distance to Notre Dame. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our first room had a leak in the ceiling and we were promptly moved to another suitable room. Room, double bed and two single beds with a large floor space. Desk area, TV, minibar (we did not use). Shower room, no bath and separate toilet room. Air conditioning. Small open wardrobe area for clothes and a mirror. Bar area and restaurant, the bar was quiet, comfortable and service was prompt and friendly. There is an interesting selection of drinks and some free nibbles. The prices were on the higher side but for the centre of Paris probably not too bad. Didn't use the restaurant. Staff Friendly and helpful with a standout concierge Benjamin. He is a true people person and a credit to the hotel. He is keen to interact and offer help where he can. He showed concern about our rooms issues and remembered us from our previous visit. He is great with children and adults and our children found him very approachable and were eager to share their days events with him as he listened intently and asked questions. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful, thank you. Area, minutes to the Metro station, shopping centre and close to some quiet traditional French cafes. The Cafe Rouge opposite the hotel was very accommodating, their happy hour lasted from approx 5pm-10pm. Seating outdoor either in the sun or shade; beautiful. Approx 40min walk from Gare du Nord or 10-15 mins via Metro. We travelled on the EuroStar into Paris. We will be returning and would recommend this hotel for families, couples anyone.
