    OK Hotel

Hotel a bit tired, and tatty, our bathroom was awful, rusty bath and peeling, tap dripped all the time in bath. Breakfast was very limited and no gluten free bread or cereal, just crackers! Staff told me management had no intention of supplying an option. No real dining room, just bar stools or low cafe tables. Closed windows ensured quiet but made it stuffy and air con noisy, kitchenette was very spartan, no tea towel, fridge was on constantly and noisy. Great location within walking to Beadle monorail and buses. Supermarket on next block and cafe next door is great.

    Thumbs Up!

The rooms were huge, with gorgeous wooden floors and a large, comfy bed. The also had small, separate kitchen areas. I have to mention the staff who were so welcoming and helpful, especially Nicky on reception and the gentleman who was a porter in the daytime. They were kind and friendly. We had an issue with the plumbing on arrival but this was resolved quickly by staff and my parents had an issue with their AC so were upgraded free of charge. I was also unsure of the area on arrival as it appeared a little rough but it turned out to be a really upcoming area with lovely restaurants and bars which was nicely busy in the evening. Yes the hotel could do with a slight spruce up e.g. new hallway carpets, new taps and shower but we were so pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed our staff in this unique hotel. I’d definitely stay again.

    Very Nice

The hotel itself was very nice. The room was quite large, with two comfortable queen beds, a separate kitchenette (microwave and fridge) with small table. The bedroom was ok. Breakfast was included (continental) and though nothing special it did offer lots of different options. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is an older hotel, we stayed on the ground floor, which was lucky as there was no lift. So if you where on the 1st or 2nd floor you would need to go up the stairs. The hotel was conveniently located near restaurants and supermarkets. You crossed a set of lights and you where at the bus stop. It took 15 minutes to get into Seattle (city) on a bus and you didn’t have to wait long for a bus as they are very regular.
