The hotel was clean and well maintained.

Our group of 20 + driver were on a private tour. There was a discrepancy between the rooms. My room was reasonably large and larger than others. It was clean but far too many pillows to store on the floor whilst in bed. One of our members was in what could be called a cleaning closet size. After complaint she was given another room. The breakfasts were very good however the dining room in the evening was a complete shambles. $75 for two course meal or $95 for a three. The food was good although I acquired a stomach bug probably from a mussel with the fish on the first night. However there was no opportunity to have only one or maybe two entrees or just a main meal. ABSOLUTELY no variation available which was confusing and difficult for older women who eat less than say a man. The driver told me that the Weekend menus are not like that and much more extensive. We were usually the only people in the dining room. Our other meals were mainly fried offering in the lounge! The sandwiches one member had were underfilled and pretty ordinary. The 1.5% on top of the bill was a surprise. We did enjoy our four nights in Katoomba and surrounds.

No problems (except for lack of lift).

Maybe a lift. It's a 'big ask' but I have osteo-arthritis & as I suspect a lot of yr customers are getting on in age, it would make accessing one's room a lot more comfortable.
