The Abri is a small hotel in the heart of downtown San Francisco. I stayed there because my main conference hotel was booked up, and I'm very glad I did! My room on the 5th (top) floor facing the inner courtyard was very quiet. The floor space was limited, but the room had a comfortable king bed, large desk, ample dresser drawers, a big closet, and a nice bathroom. The room was very clean and kept that way throughout my stay. There is a bar/restaurant connected to the hotel, but no breakfast served. The room was recently refurbished attractively. A safe, refrig, coffee maker, and big screen TV are all included. Water pressure is a little low, but mainly due to the newer water-saving fixtures. I like the spacious, very clean shower. With only 5 floors, there was no long wait fort the elevators. My room had a window air conditioner that worked fine, but wasn't needed because the windows opened to let in fresh air and it never got above 65 degrees in SF while I was there. Overall, a very pleasant stay at the Abri.
