This hotel was by far the best one we stayed at during our trip to Italy. The minute you walk in the staff greet you and take care of getting you settled in. They have a fully equipped, huge workout gym with everything you would want. We didn't use it but it was super nice. The rooms are large and the beds were so comfortable. They have modernized everything so while the character is there, it's modern and updated. The bathroom was very nice with a rain head shower and plenty of counter space. The Air condition worked so good and the room was very cold (which I wanted), which was a welcome relief from the heat. Unlike some hotels the Air condition is barely working- this one was great. They serve a breakfast which we just had to grab a few things and run out the door for a tour, it looked nice and typical items for Italy. I did have a few cocktails at their bar and they made me the best Old Fashioned. I took it up to my room and wanted another one but was already in my PJ's so I called the bar and asked if I could get room service. Without even saying what I wanted, he said 'would you like me to bring you the same drink?' It was past their listed room service hours by just a few minutes, but he was so accommodating and very polite. The entire staff is extremely polite as well and focused on providing whatever you need. I wish i would have had time to use the spa, as it is included in the cost to use the jacuzzi and sauna I believe. The location is perfect to walk to all the main sites. All the photos on their website represent very well and are accurate. Can't say enough about this hotel, it is worth every penny and I highly recommend.
