    One Beautiful Happy Island

We had a room at the end of the block overlooking the spot where all the weddings took place and also had an uninterrupted view down the beach, it was amazing. We could see and hear the ocean from our bed, bliss. The room was very spacious and the bed was enormous with a good mattress and decent bedding. There are plenty of restaurants on the complex and the thing we liked most was that you could walk along the beach all the way from the Divi to the Tamarijn and stop off in any of the bars/snack bars/restaurants along the way. Usually on an all inclusive holiday all these facilities are within hotel grounds, we had a mile long beach of choices that was great! And what a beach it was, I thought the beach here was better than the No. 1 rated beach on the island (Eagle beach) it was really wide, had lovely white sand and the beds were not too close to each other, nicely spread out. The food in the specialty restaurants was usually very good we used most of them twice as it's nice to have waiter service when you go out although on the evenings where we felt a little tired, the main restaurant was absolutely fine too lovely steak and fish. The waiters soon get to know you and bring over your drinks as soon as you sit down too. If you book a restaurant in the Tamarijn and don't fancy the 10 minute walk, there is a shuttle bus constantly going backwards and forwards which you never wait very long for. Late night snacks Pizza in the lobby bar was our favorite, freshly made to order and oh so delicious. Bar staff were very friendly, lovely cocktails with premium brands but a shame that the drinks at the lobby and beach bars were always in large plastic beakers even at night. Would have been nice to have glass in the evenings. We're not really into hotel entertainment but what we say was good limbo looked fun. We flew with Thomson and their rep on site was really helpful, she booked two excursions for us, one was a safari which was great fun takes you to all the main
