Well let me just first off, Do not stay here! Worst hotel experience ever. 1. Got into room unloaded cart, tried to use the bathroom and toilet was broken. Called the front desk, talked to Amber who was actually very helpful highlight of the stay, She said she would switch me to a different room and bring me key cards for the new room. 2. Got in the new room, toilet works ok all good. 3. Went to watch some TV prior to retiring and found the remote was not controlling the TV, couldn't change channels so useless. 4, Tried to call the front desk to get the TV issue resolved but the phone next to the bed was dead. Called hotel on my cell phone, talked to Amber about the 2 problems I was now having and she knew right off what was wrong with the TV and said she would be right up. About 20 minutes later she came up and said the cleaning people wrap the IR sensor up when they clean, she unwrapped it and all good. When I asked about the phone she replied she would make a note of it?? So there is a known issue with the IR sensors that should be fixed, why not?? If the sensors were correctly attached this would be non issue. I took the phone off the desk and plugged it into the outlet next to the bed and it worked. So this could have been fixed by simply replacing the phone, never heard anything more from hotel personnel on the phone, shame it was such an easy fix. 5. Went to retire for the evening but when I tried to lock the door I found it was broken, could not use the deadbolt. 6. When we left the room there was no 'Do not disturb' sign for the door. Had to stop at front desk for one. 7. Came back to the room that afternoon and found the 'cleaning' service had been in the room, they made 1 bed but not the other. The 2 trash cans were emptied but did not appear anything else was done, no fresh linens, despite the old being on the floor. The shower had definitely not been cleaned or even wiped down. Epic fail!!! Never stay in a Comfort Suite again!
