    Verified Stay

    Not Bad

I've stayed at the Park Central on several occasions and have always had a phenomenal stay. The location, design and amenities are hard to beat at their usual price point. My most recent trip, however, was a disappointment. After letting my SPG Gold status lapse, I saw a different side of the Park Central. Much smaller rooms, non-existent views, $20 WiFi and minimal effort to accommodate small requests (phone chargers, always available in the past, now came with a $30 up charge). Add to these little inconveniences the larger (and often noted) oddity that a hotel of this caliber does not offer room service, and my next trip to San Francisco will likely lead me to try somewhere else.
