Best Western Plus Hotel Eyde Hotel

A nice hotel room, with a comfortable hard mattress. We arrived at the hotel front desk where two staff led a conversation without just looking up and acknowledging our arrival in any way (they faced us and we could easily hear that the conversation just couldn't wait half a minute for our check-in train) Upon check in we were told where the room was. I remember hotels where you were told about times of breakfast and check out. In the room we found towels and duvet for 1 - we got the extra extra after all, without any problems. We visited the hotel for a concert in town and the price of the room was clearly set to be sold out was not a problem. If, however, the joy of the guests who paid more for the same had been set up accordingly, it would have been nice. In terms of price, 2 stars would probably have been more appropriate. The 3rd star is provided exclusively for the mattress, the soft towels and the good water pressure in the shower. However, the ventilation exhaust in the bathroom could provide a little more or at all provided something.

Stayed in this hotel for a couple of weeks while on business at Karup AB. The hotel is very comfortable, with large rooms. I especially appreciated receiving a larger corner room overlooking the plaza. The location of the hotel is excellent. One side accesses the street, while the other side is in the center of the town plaza across from the church. Many good restaurants are within easy walking distance from the hotel. The hotel has both a breakfast room on the top floor and a restaurant on the plaza for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was free, excellent, and had a wide selection of both hot and cold items. I ate in the restaurant a couple of times, and it was good, but more often I'd sit out on the plaza and have a beer. The front desk staff was very helpful. They spoke excellent English and provided advice whenever we needed it. The exercise room looked pretty good but I never used it. I mostly went on long walks. They also had some bicycles available to borrow. The common areas in the hotel are nice. I used the library a couple of times as a place to work. WiFi performed well both in the common areas and in the room.

Hotel Eyde is located in central Herning and it's location provides easy access to shopping and dining centers. Transporation is very easy too as Herning Train Station is just nearby and it will only take you 5-10 minutes if you're going to walk. Rooms are modern but at the same time classically decorated and are spacious and clean. I like the restaurant in the hotel as they serve traditional Danish cuisine. Breakfast is excellent and had a wide selection of both hot and cold items. Front desk staffs are helpful and polite. Sometimes I am having trouble with the WIFI connection, my room is located on the 3rd floor.
