My husband and I spent a delightful week there, celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. We were very fortunate in that the weather was perfect. This resort has everything you could need for a very relaxing vacation beautiful beaches, aquamarine totally clear water, opportunities for aquatic activities. The service was fantastic from everyone we encountered. The food was amazing. The best Teppanyaki we have ever had excellent Asian and Italian food. The villa was extremely comfortable and we were excited when it was decorated for our anniversary along with a nice bottle of Champagne. We met some very interesting people from all over the globe and daily on our walk to our overwater bungalow we were excited to find out what colorful and exotic fish we would see. We did take the opportunity to visit the Dhigu island with the short pontoon ride and also spent some time on the picnic island which looked like a great place for snorkeling. All in all this was the trip of a lifetime and if you are considering a trip to the Maldives, you could not do better than the Anantara resorts. We constantly explored 2 other islands. Moyo Island, from where we watched the sun set. Dhigu resort island, which also has restaurants and activities and also provided exceptional services. Shoutout to Marina. She was our guide thru our snorkeling trip. I was so scared of drowning but she was very patient with me and stayed with me the whole snorkeling trip! Overall, if you are looking for something just for adults and offers exceptional services across the board, then this is your resort. Plus its only half hour speedboat ride away from the airport.
