Great value for moneyThe room was clean and had everything you need.

This is a very clean B&B. No elevator, no staff to help with luggage, so be prepared. Nice room; TV; nice bathroom with shower; phone, no charge for a local call. Breakfast was included but I didn't care for their food. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Quiet neighborhood. About 20 minute walk from Buchanan Bus Station (where bus from Glasgow Airport comes in) and Queen Street railroad station and George Square.

clean but staff generally unfriendly and there was a rushed feel to breakfast!!

Great breakfast and good location near town center in Glasgow. Friendly staff and good value but no lift and lots of stairs make it somewhat a challenge with heavy bags. Near lots of restaurants and good shopping. Definately more plus than minus.

Adequate, but not anything specialOur stay was adequate for the price we paid, but some things bothered a bit. Lack of elevator was a hindrance as we had some heavy luggage with us and got the room from top floor. Air conditioning in the hallway of top floor was non-existent, resulting in part to poor air in our room itself. I would recommend staying only if are on a low budget and are going to spend as little time in your room as possible.

short break summaryThe hotel was in a convenient location and the room was fine but at 5.30 in the morning we realised we were literally next to the kitchen and were awakened on both nights by fans , pans banging and chatting. I did tell the reception but she blamed the staff. I don't really think that was fair as, unless in emergency, no one should have been accommodated there. Overall I would stay there again but beware of room 36. PS breakfast was excellent!

Excellent Hotel, highly recommended I would have given a count of 6 on quality of room and 6 on cleanliness if it had not been for the fact that the nets on the windows were filthy. They didn't look like they had been washed for some time. I am very fussy about net curtains, as a huge fan of them, it's always nice to see clean and white curtains. They always make the room seem brighter. That is the only complaint I have about this hotel. I would highly recommend it. The gentlemen on reception were helpful, but not very chatty, the lady on Reception was very helpful. Definitely will be visiting again. Food was amazing, very good value for money. The dining room was uncluttered, extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen was a credit to the hotel, you could see it from the hallway. Extremely clean and a lot of work goes in to keeping it that way.Bedrooms are very good size and well maintained, though my bathroom looked like it was still in the middle of being done, but it was clean. Just two walls were untiled and seemed to be plastered but not painted, water drip stains on them. Seem to need painting with waterproof paint. On the whole though, I would defintiely recommend it to my friends.

Climbing Mount Everest!!Trying to find hotel was hard initially as no concrete signs to follow and then had to scale the pavement to front door only to be told that we were on the second floor and there was no lift. This was of little use to me as i have had a triple by-pass and have asthma and i had a hard job reaching the room especially with bags. Had i known this i would have stipulated that i needed a lower floor room or would have chosen a hotel nearer where i was going. The room was basic but clean and beds were comfortable. Timing of breakfast was odd as it finished serving at 8.45am when needed it to be at least 9.30am.

Angela's experience. This hotel is good, basic accomodation, although the carpet in the room hadn't been hoovered very well and the pillows were a bit old. Apart from that, my stay was very good and the staff really helpful. As I was only there for one night it served my purposes well and the price was excellent!

Booking not received - breakfast variable quality. The receptionist, on receipt of my booking form, checked the hotel records and informed us that our booking had not been received. She showed no concern that this had happened and when asked about it she said \"we haven't received a fax for this booking.\" We did, fortunately, get a free room. However, the hotel staff showed no concern that the booking system with Late Rooms com had not worked. Nothing was reported to the hotel manager, Kathleen Walker, as far as I know - so this could well happen again! Why do they depend on faxes and not e-mails, I wonder. The room was good - comfortable and spacious. However, the breakfast was variable in quality. The scrambled eggs had been diluted a great deal [with milk, I presume] and the sausages were pretty awful. The bacon was good.

The room was good value for money, the breakfast could not be faulted. But there was blood stains on our bathroom wall and that put us off a bit.
