Me and my girlfriend stayed at the hotel. They gave us a bunk bed room when we booked a double in advance and refuse to give us the right room, on the top of the bunk bed someone who stayed before had a period for there was blood on the bed and sheet, it wasn't cleaned neither was the sheet changed. basically it is shit and so is the staff service, they are only nice to you when you are checking in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good cheap central accomodation. Would use again. Due to its central location, it is quite noisy, so I never slept great the first night. The accomodation is basic and clean enough. Breakfast was good. I would go back. I stayed with my brother. I know my wife would not like it as she likes a bit of luxury and this is not that. We were catching the train for 2 days at central station and this place is perfect for that being only 2 mins away. Did not use bar so cant comment but Witherspoons across road £1.29 a Pint. What more do you need?

The Hostel is a reasonable value for money if you need a cheap accommodation for a very short time in Glasgow. The staff is really helpful but the facilities (i.e the shower in the private rooms) are significantly below average. Also, rooms are really noisy, not as clean as advertised and it's easy to hear people talking in rooms next to the one you have been assigned. I wouldn't go back there.

Well well well, what a lovely suprise, the welcome on arival was second to none, everyone was so helpful, the atmosphere relaxed, made our long journey to see Bruce Springsteen a very pleasant experience, breakfast was fine, great value for money.

A great place to stay - clean, friendly, cheap, and ideally located. It isn't fancy, but that's the whole point of it. My friend and I would definately stay there again.

Welcome to GlasgowTorrential rain welcomed me & my colleague. Despite booking 2 x single rooms, a mix up meant that we were billeted together in a twin room. Staff were apologetic, and the price of the room reflected this, as did the odd light bulb not working & sticking window/ However, I booked it on the cheap & cheerful basis, so it would be foolish to expect luxury. It did the job, and the fact the huge building was choc a bloc suggested that for accomodation on a budget, it was ideal, and close to city centrte, rail station etc.

Euro Hostel The place to stay on a budgetI stayed in the euro hostelin glasgow. Reception staff was second to none, really helpful friendly and courteous. The standard of the rooms were surpisingly of a high standard considering the price I paid. This was real value for money and I will definately be using this hostel again in the future.

10th June 2009The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic, but thats to be expected, it is a hostel after all. I was going to a concert at SECC and its' location was excellent. A short walk to the SECC. All in all, recommended if you don't mind basic accomodation with really friendly staff.

Euro HostelI was disappointed with Euro Hostel. It really is not good value for money if you have only one or two people to a room. The hostel is tired inside. Euro Hostel might be passable for a one or two night stay in Glasgow but that is about it.A positive is the central location: easy walking distance from the railway and bus stations.

Fine and dandy for an overnight stay.Great location and good, simple, cheap accommodation. En suite loo and shower very convenient. Lots of great facilities, wi fi etc. Definitely would stay again for one or two nights stays. Nice atmosphere for a large hostel.

excellent for all the basic needsAs a 70 year old hosteler I was slightly nervous about the 3 night stay.Myself and my grandson aged 20 shared a twin room which had pritine white bedding and towels. The breakfast altho not A class was adequate and reflected the cost of staying. The kitchen was well equiped and very useful. All in all I would reccommend anyone to stay

Highly recommended! Was a bit dubious about staying here when i seen the word 'hostel' but we were looking budget accomodation and central location and the euro hostel seemed to fit the bill and after reading previous guest reviews,we decided to give it a shot. Well i was very impressed, very good location easy to find, staff were very welcoming and helpful on reception, the atmosphere in the place was great {and thats somethin money can't buy!} rooms were bright clean and airy. This place deserves it's good reputation x thanks guys

As it says on the can.....it's a Hostel. The reception staff were really helpful and friendly.Several things to beware of though: Parking..finding a place to park in the maze of one-way streets took 1/2 an hour; If you park on the streets, parking charges start at 08.00 and are expensive. The T V in my room cost £1 for 4 hours and there was no brew kit in the room at all. Brews obtainable from a vending machine at approx 60p a cup.

We stayed in Euro hostel for a night in Glasgow so I choose this hostel based on the price which was the cheapest one (£35 per room) with good review. I didnt really expect much for that price but what we got was surprisingly clean, pleasant, and all the staff were very friendly (especially the check in staff when we came who were outstanding!). The room and private bathroom was basic but very clean, really nothing to complain. I would definitely go back there next time!

This was fine for the price of it, and for the purpose of having a bed for the night. Very basic room (quite shabby) and amenities but the bed was surprisingly comfy, if a little squeaky! I would stay there again but only on a 1 or 2 night basis, no longer, and just as a base for the end of the day. Not for long stays, families, or those who like a bit of luxury!

Average hostel, recommend to group of friends that don't really care about comfort.
