Old Mill InnThe Old Mill Inn has plenty of character and the whole establishment has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Pricess provided good value for money.

Old Mill Inn first visitEasy to drive past and tucked away behind the main street, this hotel is well worth finding. The staff are a delight and very courteous. The accommodation is new and furnished to a high standard. The food is a little short of fine dining, but it is of high quality, enjoyable, plentiful and unpretentious. The bar is welcoming (and welcome after a seven hour drive). (There is a small car park for hotel patrons that could be full when it is very busy). Thoroughly recommended without any buts.

Hotel was excellent and staff all very friendly.Food was very nice, bar a bit pricey for a village hotel, but overall enjoyed our stayWalls and ceilings not very thick so had quite a bit of noise from above and below. Especiallythe young child in the room above doing laps of his bedroom at 6 in the morning....Not good !!

Old Mill Inn, PitlochryThe Old Mill Inn was situated just off the main street, so it was very central. Its a great setting, there is a small stream running by the hotel with the old traditional water wheel, perfect for sitting outside on the decking and relaxing. The rooms were excellent; spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. I would definately come back to stay here again.

Lovely welcoming hotel with large comfortable bedroom and pleasant, family friendly restaurant/bar.We stayed in bedroom 5 which was lovely but needed a window lock on one of the windows which was accessible to a young active child.Really friendly and helpful staff.

Great place to stayGreat location, very friendly and helpful staff, nice lounge area and large rooms recently decorated to brand new standard. Large bathroom with excellent shower. Good central location with off road parking. Breakfast was good, although choice could have been greater. (Not buffet style, so everything freshly cooked (which is good,) but one of each item rather than maybe you would want 2 of some and none of some the other items...). All staff were very helpful with everything, even/especially when asked about local places to go and see.

Short stay in PitlochryVery nice clean and comfortably furnished hotel well placed just up a small lane off the centre of town. Staff were all nice and friendly and did everything to make for an enjoyable stay would definitely recommend to anybody this hotel.

Excellent AccomodationThis hotel is very recently refurbished. The room we stayed in was clean & modern. Very comfortable bed, lovely hot shower, loads of room for me, husband and 12 year old son. The staff were friendly and helpful, food (breakfast) was good. The hotel could not be better situatd for access to Pitlochry town centre. Excellent value for money. Recommended.

1 Night stayGreat newly refurbished hotel with working waterwheel. Excellent location just behind high street yet quiet at night. Friendly staff and hearty breakfast. One night was not enough as this hotel is excellently located for exploring this region of Scotland. The town has some great restaurants and shops. Easy walking distance from the hotel to the river, salmon ladder and dam which is recommended. Just a few miles away is Queens view which is definatley worth a visit.

Night at The Old Mill Hotel PitlochryThe room in The Old Mill Hotel was of a very high standard, it was spotlessly clean and had everything we required. The bed was very comfortable. We had a little trouble with the lighting which was activated by the card used to enter the room, when my husband went down to the bar taking the card with him I was left in darkness.

Hotel has been taken over and upgraded early 2009. Rooms large and well-presented. Staff courteous and extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. Food was also excellent dinner and breakfast sampled. Portions were generous and offered value for money. Management are still ironing out one or two small problems e.g. sufficient mirrors in rooms at the right locations e.g. close to hair-dryers.

Escape from the madding crowdThe Old Mill Inn was everything I'd hoped for. Its central to the town and not too far from local walks. The twin room was wonderful, hugely comfortable queen sized beds, spotless, great shower and even an iron in the room. The room must have been refurbished recently as it still had that \"new\" feel to it.The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the resturant where the food was just delicious, with generous helpings which applied to breakfast the next morning as well. There was a relaxed atmosphere, with the burn and water-wheel adding to the ambience. I had a very enjoyable stay, would recommend the Old Mill Inn as a great place to stay and will definately be back.

leshExcellent new bedrooms with good facilities and roomy.Breakfast selection is cereal and a cooked breakfast so more continental choice would be good. No muesli.Welcoming and friendly staff
