Cheap nights accommodation but be prepared to use the same towel for 5 days straight .. It could have been more but that's all we stayed!! My room was smelly from the start and they don't even empty your rubbish at all. Quite disappointing but you get what you pay for.

Perfect location and very cheap for what you get. Friendly and helpful staff. Felt very happy and safe there.

Pros: Small but clean. Pretty looking hotel. Refrigerator. Bring shampoo. Reminds me of a little European room. Behind the hotel are numerous shops and restaurants. Attractions all within walking distance. Cons: Right across from all the drug dealers. Just cross the square that the hotel is facing is a street where you can go to 20 or more raunchy strip clubs, after you first pass the drug addicts soliciting you of course. You will note the drug dealers/gang members living in the hotel buy the fact that they keep one pant leg up all the time. They can also easily be heard conducting business next to your room most of the night. It reminds me of Times Square before it was cleaned up.

Food in the Petrol restaurant was excellent, the lads modified food for my inability to accept sugary foods.The gripe is one bar of soap is not much, would have been nice to have a small bottle of shower/shampoo, I had to buy my own elsewhere.

The hotel had everything that I needed for my stay - Close to station, entertainment, food. Then there were the helpful staff, good value and finally peace.

Good value hotel in an interesting location...right between sophisticated Potts Point (good eateries and bars,and lovely buildings) and bohemian,spicy Kings Cross(a bit rough and seedy but open 24 hours and cheap to eat and drink)...hotel in a quiet side street and we had a peaceful,adequate room for the price and central location (to the rest of Sydney)..only downside....poor servicing of the room ie cleaning/change of towels/emptying rubbish etc. Overall,pluses and minuses but enjoyed our stay.

Springfield Logde was the best place i've stayed in to date, whilst in either New Zealand or Australia. For the price is was just about right. The twin was clean & tidy , good size and lots of space. Downslide was the positioning of T.V + the confined small bathroom. Location was good but room 203 can be nosiy from the outside building/construction going on outside.But that apart, i'd stay there anytime.

Don't really want to comment as it'll be full next time I try, but it's an absolute steal. The best hotel room of our stay at pretty much the cheapest price.
