After struggling uphill to find this out-of-the-way place, we arrived to find reception cold and unwelcoming. Bearing in mind we had already paid for our stay in advance, we were shocked to find we had to leave a $200 deposit for the mini-bar before we were allowed into our room!! The suite had everything we needed with views, etc, but it lacked real style and warmth for the price. When we returned from our outing that evening, a voice rudely demanded 'room number please', before buzzing us in, without so much as a 'good evening' or the like. While I was upstairs in the morning, housekeeping entered the room without permission while a 'do not disturb' sign was on the door (my friend was sleeping). I rang and complained and we were offered a free breakfast as an apology by morning reception staff, which we graciously accepted. The breakfast was very ordinary, so were glad at least we didn't have to pay for it as the ridiculous mini-bar deposit cleaned us out! Overall we were treated like criminals or beggars, hardly the 5-star treatment we thought the price would include. I might mention, we were well-presented and politely-spoken, so couldn't understand discrimination, or wondered if the hotel just had very bad-mannered staff! Wouldn't stay there again if it was the last available hotel in the city!!

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. All the staff were polite and extremely helpfull. We stayed in a Deluxe King Suite and couldn't have been happier.

For our wedding night, this hotel could not have been more perfect! They upgraded our room and provided free parking! We could not have been happier! Perfect Location!

Excellent overall and would stay again. Only "down side" was traffic noise.

The room was fabulous and even though it was 'city view' we could still see the harbour bridge. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Really central location for all the sights of Sydney. Thouroughly recommend it. We wanted to move in permanently!

The view from the 2 bedroom suite was FANTASTIC. The suite was clean and the staffs were friendly and helpful. Location wise-may be a bit hard to find and it sited at the top steep slope from the main road, which may be a tough walk for the elderly. But it is near the Circular Quay and Wynyard Train Station and bus stops, so quite convinence once you know the way. I would recommend this place!
