Staff was very friendly and the hotel itself is in a very convenient location but rooms leave something to be desired. Inasmuch as this is a waterpark hotel, there were lots of kids(and adults) running around and being noisy. There were also several dogs on our floor who occassionally barked. If you want a quieter hotel after a day of sightseeing in the area, you best look elsewhere.

If you had children, the water park. Inability to solve a major problem. We had a problem with a barking German shepherd for over two hours while we were trying to sleep. Neighboring rooms made repeated calls to the front desk, my husband went down to the front desk after two hours. Everyone was told the problem would be solved, but it was not. There was no redress. Many people reported the problem again the next morning and we received an apology, nothing else. We've stayed in other hotels that had problems with rowdy guests, etc. and were given a half price room in the future. We will never stay at this hotel again. The demeanor of the staff was haughty. Our colleague was in the next room and asked for a room in another part of the hotel and was turned down because he had.

We stayed at the La Quinta hotel in Rapid City, SD. It was very nice, very comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Plus the price was right. The location was perfect for us as we were only 8 miles from the airport and had an early morning flight. We would definitely stay here again.

Staying on a weekday was great!! We stayed here for the waterslides and we were more than impressed!! I have two toddlers 4 and 2 yrs old and they had a blast! They were able to do whatever they wanted which made the whole trip worth while. Plus dad and I had fun too! I am and will tell all my friends to stay here and have fun with their kids. However, I will urge them to do so in the off months. January through early May, we stayed here in August and it was extremely busy!!

The LaQuinta in Rapid City is a new facility located right off Interstate 90 in a very convenient location. The room was very nice with a desk, internet access, chair and plenty of room around the beds. Bathroom facilities looked new and clean. There is no restaurant in the facility, but there are good restaurants close by the names of which the staff were very willing to share with us. This was without a doubt the best quality hotel for the price of any that we have stayed in recently. I will definitely seek out a LaQuinta Inn on my next trip.

The pool closed at 9 on Monday (a holiday) and we did not like that because we stayed at the hotel for the pool and hot tub. We would not stay at this hotel again, we could hear other people all night long. The bathroom tub had a great deal of mold build up and over all did not seem that clean. The large pool area was not open after 9 pm during the week nights and that was a let down. The breakfast was a good old Carb fest the only healthy choice was an apple.

I stayed here this past Fall on business and really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were perfect for what I needed. Very comfortable and were great for doing work in. The staff delivered great customer service all the way around. Definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and not to mention a great price. I just wish I would have brought along my family to enjoy their incredible waterpark.

The La Quinta Inn in Rapid City was a pleasant surprise. The personnel at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. Our room with two queen beds was large and well-furnished and very clean. The mattresses could not have been more comfortable in our opinion. A continental breakfast complete with waffles and the daily newspaper was a great way to start the day.

My son and I stayed at the La Quinta overnight arriving in very late from the airport. Enroute from the airport I became quite lost (Rapid City has rather poor road signage) The staff were very helpful and patient with me as I had to call several times on the road for fresh directions. When we arrived they were glad to see us and check in took only a moment, then we were off to our nice comfy pillowtop beds uptairs. In the morning, we had the best (and the busiest) hotel continental breakfast that I've ever seen of it's kind. There was the option of making fresh waffles, as well as all kinds of other choices to suit different tastes. My son loved his waffle and doughnut, and I had a yogurt, a couple of hard boiled eggs and fruit, as well as juice and coffee. Two ladies were there the whole time doing nothing but passionately refilling, clearing, cleaning and chatting warmly with the guests. We felt more like customers in a family restaurant than people taking advantage of a complimentary service in a large hotel. We were off to a great start in the Black Hills!

The La Quinta Inn & Suites In Rapid City, South Dakota was very comfortable, larger than expected, very clean, nice large bathroom also. There was construction on the road right outside the hotel, so it was a little difficult coming and going. The continental breakfast was very good.

Nicely furnished rooms, with comfy beds. Housekeeping failed to clean the room one day.

Our family had lots of fun in waterpark. We also used the fitness and business center which were both very convenitent. The continental breakfast had a nice variety of options. Our only complaint was our toilet did not work properly - must be something with the pipes as plunging did not solve the problem.

La Quinta Rapid City was very spacious. There was good storage for clothes and suitcases. The writing desk was a pleasant surprise with an outlet and Cat5 connection right on the end for computer hookup. Wireless also worked fine in the room. A very nice motel.

La Quinta Inn & Suites in Rapid City South Dakota was a very comfortable stay. The room was just the right size for four people not to feel crowded. The water park was fun it was a chance for my husband and I and our friends to relax in the hot tub and act like kids again on the water slides. Very easy to find right off the interstate.

I liked everything! Nothing bad to write about. This hotel room was by far the prettiest I have stayed in for a long time.I am pleased. This was my first used of Priceline, but I will be using it again and will recommend it to my friends.
