It is a great family get-away even if it's for a week-end. The staff was friendly and knowledgable, plenty of parking and rooms were very clean.

The location to the interstate. The host at the front counter had a bad attitude. The hotel itself was great and the location was great.

the hotel is about 15 minutes from rapid city and decent restaurant. For the price stay closer to town. The breakfast is not that great. Frozen food and waffles. No good at all. The hotel was 30 miles from mt. rushmore and crazy horse.

I noticed there are not a lot of reviews for this hotel, so i would like to share my experience with you. This was one of the nicest place i've ever stayed. The rooms are so clean, and quiet. But my favorite was the bed. Very comfortable pillowtop. I have never slept on a mattress like that before, anywhere. I liked it better then my very expensive select comfort! It was like sleeping on a cloud! The linens are crisp and clean -- No bedspreads here, either, (bedspreads have alot of history on them).. Even though there wasn't a pool which is one thing i really look forward to when i stay in a hotel, there was an attached waterpark, but you'll have to pay extra. Three computers in the lobby for guests, with internet. There was always one available when i fel the need to "surf". They offer an outstanding breakfast in the morning! There was such a variety from fruit, to breakfast sandwiches to waffles...even cereal. They had everything! The staff is extremely hard working, friendly, courteous. I felt like royalty. If you find something wrong with their breakfast, chances are, you're just a miserable person to be around. Located Right off the freeway, not too far from downtown. Maybe 20 minutes from Mt. Rushmore. Should i ever visit SD again, this will be my first choice.

Airport shuttle not run by motel as implied. Called shuttle service the night before, since I had a very early flight and needed firearms check. Promised 15 minute earlier arrival at motel. Instead it was 15 minutes later than normal.

Good location right next to quiet Freeway. Breakfast is not to looking forward to but OK. Hotel is clean and free internet at lobby.

What a hotel! Kids loved the waterpark. Roof even opens up to make it an outdoor or indoor waterpark. My kids have never had so much fun at a hotel. Friendly staff and comfy rooms.

Staff was awesome, rooms were very clean, Continental Breakfast was good(served from 6-9am), location was great, and the best part of all... "A INDOOR WATER PARK BUILT RIGHT INTO THE HOTEL ABSOLUTLY INCREDIBLE", my whole family loved it.

The hotel was on the outskirts of Rapid City next to the Highway. It was easy to get to restaurants, shopping, etc because of easy freeway access although there was not a lot right there. We liked the internet access available at no cost. The place was clean and well kept. There were lots of kids as the Waterpark was next door.

About an hour after checking in, I saw that there was feces on the inside of the toilet. I asked my travel companions if they had used the bathroom, they had not. This was from the previous guest. When I made my reservation through travel agent , the information I read stated there was free internet service, however this hotel does not have a wireless connection and cables are not available for every room. We were not able to obtain a data cable until late in the day on the our third day. There were some other little issues - such as the ironing board does not stay up and the fan in the bathroom does not come on. We checked out one day early becuase another family opened our door with their key and walked into our room. Our keys had been deactivated by the front office.. I am extremely disappointed in this hotel which I have paid over * to stay in for three nights. If I ever stay at another Marriott property, it will be because I had no other choice. If you really like to use the pool at your hotel, this is not the best place to stay. It is not a pool so much as it is an indoor waterpark and you do have to pay extra to use the facility.

Fairfield Inn & Suites was a great place to stay to visit Mt Rushmore. Very helpful staff, large bathroom, washer & dryer available. A lot of construction around that area but never heard it inside our rooms

The hotel location was excellent for exploring the area. It had a nice central location for our adventures. The front desk was very helpful when we asked questions. The room was clean when we arrived and thoroughly cleaned each day of our stay. The morning buffet was yummy and there were plenty of choices (juice, coffee, hot chocolate,fruit, yogurt,bread, bagels, english muffins, oatmeal, cereal, eggs, waffles, etc.)

All staff is extremely friendly. Stood in like for 20 minutes to make waffles - only one waffle iron. Need at least 4 to keep up with the people there. Layout of breakfast area needs lots of work also. Waterpark was a blast for my kids - but try and get passes with rooms (40 for 5 or 16/person at hotel). Can not bring any of own drink or food into waterpark is also a downfall since you really need to spend all day there to make it worth the money.

Clean, hotel staff went above and beyond! Coffee 24/7. Waterpark had many kids, but it was the weekend. I would have loved it with my grandkids. This hotel is awesome. The breakfast bar was oatmeal, yogurt, toast, bagels, cold cereal, hard boiled eggs, waffles, muffins. Milk, juice, water to drink. Very clean breakfast area. I would have preferred more hot food options, but it is what it is. Can't tell you enough how great the hotel staff is, and they had 3 computers available to use in the hotel lobby area partitioned off with privacy and a printer to use. This is a great hotel, 30 minutes outside of the Mt. Rushmore Monument. Rapid city has many attractions, loads of restaurants and some shopping. Hotel gave us a list of restaurants that were located at each exit, it proved to be the most used thing on our trip.

While the water park is a huge draw, the clean & comfortable rooms and facilities were wonderful. Had we known there were more family attractions in the area while we visited Mt. Rushmore, we would have stayed a few days more. We took advantage of the laundry facilities (which were front loaders and effecient) and the free internet in the lobby. The staff was very personable and helpful. It would be a bonus to have the breakfast time expanded to a later time like 11am as most people would like to sleep in on vacations. The water park has snack and grill places to eat which was very nice.

The overall look and feel of the motel. Comfortable N/A It was outstanding. Good staff, clean and very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Rapid City! Will stay there again hopefully soon!
