George's First time I have stopped in this type of accommodation and for a city centre location was ideal
Date of Stay:
January, 2009
Excellent location with lots of bars and restaurant very near by. Hotel has recently been decorated to a high spec. We booked a studio but got an upgrade to an apartment. The apartment was spacious and warm despite the cold outside. We had a room facing the street and slept soundly. Other people found the noise in the street kept them awake. Breakfast was easy with cereals, coofee and rolls available. We didn't see the fitness suite.

Great central Glasgow locationStayed here twice in the last year & will do so again. It is reasonably priced & central, staff are v.helpful and the accomodation is spacious, clean and comfortable. Merchant City on the doorstep has plenty of restaurants, bars & shops, but the Suites are in a fairly quiet street so you can get the best of both the city's nightspots and a good nights sleep.

Visit1The accommodation is first class and good value for the cost. The only regrettable issue was an alarm went off near by and ended up rining for much of the night - meant on one evening I had a very disturbed night

Excellent Value, great room Highly recommended, I had a quiet room at the back of the hotel, so no street noise at night. Hotel is in merchant city so lots of good bars and restaurants.

A very enjoyable stay. Fantastic to get into our room before the allocated time, allowing us to unpack and head into town. Large room, which was very clean and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to book again and recommend to friends!!!!

suite...open plan...First floor room..backed out onto Candleriggs car park...{ level with where I parked...so I could see car safe....!!! } secure patrolled parking... open plan suite room... well decorated... comfortable... kitchen area... hob microwave and fridge...so plenty of scope for personal use... Second floor rooms are bigger than first floor... worth the difference...definitely... Once you stay here you won't use a simple hotel again...they are just boxes with a bed in comparison...

Best Apartment in Glasgow!
Date of Stay:
April, 2009
The 1st room we were given was a studio apartment which was tiny and looked straight into the multi-storey carpark. After asking if there was any other rooms available we were given a 1 bedroom apartment which was much more spacious and the decor was modern, clean if a little minimal. The stay would have been a much more pleasant experience if we were not directly above a nightclub. We stayed for 2 nights and could not attempt to sleep before 4am either night. On top of that the tower clock across the road began chiming at 8am leaving us feeling very tired by the time we left.

March 26th 2009Stayed at the Fraser Suites on Friday March 26th 2009. Room was very clean, the only complaint I would have is the quality of the finish on some of the room features - for example the toilet roll holder was nearly hanging off the wall and when I turned the shower tap it fell off in my hand. Little things but it makes the £85 for one night charge quite steep.Other than that we can't complain, the room was a good size and was clean. The TV channels weren't tuned in and it's something that should've been picked up on by the apartment managers.

It was great to have a sitting room/kitchen as well as a bedroom. We love the flexibility of being able to eat out or cater for ourselves and it was also useful when one of us wanted to sleep and the other didn't. Would recommend it highly, especially to anyone travelling on business or with small children - anyone, relly!

Great choice great location!!Arrived early fri morn we explained that we may need an early check in! which was fine they had rooms ready! The room was great for two ppl small but adequate for a weekend city break, the bed was huge and very comfortable and the room was modern.Towels and hairdryer and iron and ironing board is provided, staff were very friendly and the location is very central just a a short walk and your are in the heart of everyhing. My only concern was not to be put on the 1st floor as maggie mays bar is right beneath and is on until 3am so if you are going to book reserve a room from the 2nd floor up, other than this i will definitely be back next month!

I like staying here - its almost like home from home!

Nice room shame about the noiseLovely room, good sizes but, inter-room walls are very thin and single glazing onto the street dont help ion a busy Glasgow night
Date of Stay:

Great location price was good value £70 for twin room, parking cost £6 for 24 hours and breakfast £6 each bit of a dissappointment as nothing hot, there were facilities for cooking in the room but if only staying one night not really going to bother getting food in.
