Staff was friendly and helpful, asked for smoking room but didn't realize how bad it would smell, burn holes in bedspread, air conditioning worked too well on high but not well enough on low.

Availability. Unclean. Okay if you need a place at the last minute. Bring sanitizer.

Dirtiest hotel we have stayed in in twenty years. Moldy shower curtain and shower head, light in bathroom out, no drain plug in sink, layer of dust over all the furniture as if it hadn't been dusted in weeks and to top it off a dirty sink. No hair dryer in the bathroom and the complementary breakfast was white bread slices, dollar store pastries and juice and coffee. If all the hotels in town weren't booked for the concert and the game that weekend, we would have asked the online travel website to move us.

The bathroom was filthy. There were only 2 thin towels in the room. No amenities such as shampoo. This was not worth the 100 plus dollars for the night.

I checked in very late, around 11 PM. It was a standard hotel room, exactly what you pay for. no problems but no glam.

Not much. Dump. Wasn't as close to JPJ arena. Stay at the one right across from arena if thats what you're looking for in a motel. Stay here if you plan on drinking beer from the trunk of your car.

Pass by this dump. It's dirty, smelly and has paper-thin walls. The towels (rags, really) are see-through. Even the sheets don't fit. Only book this place if everything else within 30 miles is full.

The hotel was convienently located down the street from the University of Virginia. The Dave Matthews Band was in town that weekend and this was the primary reason for our stay. The staff was pleasant and the room was very clean. Overall it was a fine hotel.

Close to where we needed to be and affordable. Very outdated and not real clean. Didn't even have alarm clocks or hairdryers. Very bare-bones hotel. Although the room was good sized, it wasn't real clean, and lacked so many amenities - alarm clock, hairdryer, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave. There was no fitness center either. It did have a decent breakfast area, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

clean and quiet -- good value for the low price. courteous staff

Economical and comfortable. Check out at 11. This hotel was as good as it needed to be for the purpose of having a place to crash before a noon-time football game. It had more cable channels than mostI have stayed at.

This is a standard motel, but what makes it different is the new owners. Pleasant and accomodating folks. There are no frills here, but clean, comfortable rooms. We recommend this motel.

All of the staff was most pleasant always. It is just very old, run down, smells not so great, needs remodeling. Even on a UVA football weekend, I just can't stomach paying over $100 a night for this hotel. Nice people work there, but it is just way too outdated.

The two things that struck me as bad was the lack of shampoo and an alarm clock.Other than that I have no complaints

Comfortable beds. Hard to find based on map & instructions. Icy parking lot. Hot shower & a place to sleep.

Close to many places we needed to visit. Wanted to charge extra for everything. This hotel was definitely not well-kept. They were in the process of changing carpets is some rooms and the new carpet and the old carpet was strewn everywhere, on the sidewalks in the parking area. It was raining and very difficult to walk with all the debris around. I called upon receiving confirmation of my offer being accepted and asked for two beds. I was told that would be fine. When I arrived I was given a room with one bed and was told two beds world cost me more. I asked for a rollaway and was told that would cost me more.

Hotel was very clean. No hair dryer, ironing board. room smoky. Very courteous clerks, good coffee, honey bun and orange juice.

Nothing. The evening teller (9:00 pm) was rude.
Date of Stay:

nothing I didn't like anything about the hotel. I was under the impression that a standard hotel room is equipped with two beds unless specified. After I checked into the hotel my room had one full size bed. I was not satisfied with the service of the hotel.
Date of Stay:
June, 2005
Poor location, run-down, hard bed (small), peeling paint, limited electrical outlets but, the duty clerk was friendly and helpful.
