About Agay

Backed by the rugged peaks of the Esterel Massif, Agay is a seaside neighbourhood east of Saint-Raphaël. It’s home to three sandy beaches and hosts a lively produce market while it’s also a stone’s throw from the scenic hiking trails of Le Rastel d'Agay.

Spend your days relaxing on the Plage d’Agay, a Blue Flag beach lined with alfresco cafes and boutiques. Stretching for 15 kilometres, the mountain range includes the 614-metre-high peak of Mont Vinaigre and the scenic Lac de l’Avellant. Also not to miss is the Rock of Roquebrune, a red-rock butte topped by three crosses that offers 360-degree views across the Argens Valley.

Agay makes an ideal base for exploring Saint-Raphaël, a popular resort with a 12th-century church and a watchtower offering elevated town views. Marvel at the 19th-century Notre Dame de la Victorie Basilica and stroll through the waterfront Bonaparte Garden with its picnic pavilions and play areas. Prehistoric findings and Roman excavations are showcased at the Saint-Raphaël Archaeological Museum.
