It was certainly the luxury end that we had planned Everyone was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. From the moment we arrived with the valet car parking and taking your luggage to the welcome drink and all the info needed upon check in They arranged something special for us, this was the only place for our whole trip we felt we were treated extra special as it was an extra special occasion. The size of the hotel is incredible with all varied springs with diff sizes, shapes and temperatures. It was very spacious and no lack of sunbeds. The swim up bar was incredible with the best mango daquiri ever. The hotel has 3 separate evening restaurants, all of which were nice. We love sushi so loved that bar which was also next to the games room. There are 3 different locations of Springs with one being in their Club Rio part of the complex which they bus you too every half hour. It was amazing very secluded with hot springs, wildlife sanctuary and kayaking. The rooms are beautiful. We had a mountain view which was incredible and had room service breakfast every day on our terrace as it was reasonable price. The bathroom is huge and the bed is amazing. The TV is great with wide range of channels but also screen mirroring so we were able to stream Netflix. Also if you are still looking to explore like we were it's quite close to La Fortuna town. We had a car so about 15 mins drive and we went for a day excursion but we also went back one evening and had a fab meal and drinks, the atmosphere in town was great. The hotel will provide you with a taxi there chargeable to the room and a taxi back is only about 10,000 colones. It you want a mix of luxury and wildlife, this is definitely it. The only down side is that everything shuts down at 10pm. We eat at about 8pm so didn't give us much chance for drinks and games after.
