Shangri-La Hotel - Kuala Lumpur Hotel

The best hotel I've been to, great service, friendly staff, amazing facilities and the location is very accessible to malls and restaurants. The Hotel is so amazing, the pool area was a good size. The breakfast was really good with all kind of options. This is also a good base in order to explore Kuala Lumpur and close to several land marks. The gym was excellent with a good variety of equipment and the spa/sauna/steam room was also good to use. Really did a great job.

The decor and the rooms scream opulence, the staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful. The view was absolutely breath taking. The facilities were magnificent. In short, absolutely amazing stay! The room had a very nice view and the temperature was set to what really I wanted inside the room. Gym is lovely, equipped with all you need for a good work out and with lovely wallpapers. Pool is great too. Great hotel we have great time they are very welcome and upgrades excellent hotel we love it differently we well come again

I was really impressed with this hotel. This is the second time I have stayed in Kuala Lumpur-the first time I stayed at another hotel. This hotel has a very modern style-its interior and accessories were designed by Philip Stark. You will see a lot of modern glass accents throughout. The staff was great. You wouldn't have to ask for another drink one would just appear. We had a great dinner at their restaurant Lafite. The restaurant staff was so friendly. The Sommelier offered to give us a private tour of their wine cellar, which has a fine vertical of Chateau Lafite. Definitely would stay here again. Great for tourist and business travelers.

Having stayed at the excellent Shangri-La in Bangkok I did not hesitate in booking at the Shangri-La in KL. It exceeded our expectations in all respects. Probably better than the highly rated Mandarin Oriental. There are several excellent restaurants but for practicality and value for money go to the Lemon Garden restaurant for the buffet food. It has a reasonable outdoor pool, spa and all the usual facilities. Petronas tower and shopping complex is only a ten minute walk and the underground station is 15 minutes away. As it's a conference and business hotel it isn't really geared for children/families but saying that the Lemon Garden restaurant buffet has a fantastic range food, cakes and chocolate fountain that only children could appreciate.

The members of the staff whom we encountered during our stay were all so very friendly and accommodating. They pleasantly assisted us by answering whatever questions we may have had or offered any help we may have needed during our short stay. The hotel is impeccable, the room was immaculate and the facilities were great. The staff was very helpful, kind and most respectful. The pool area and gardens are beautifully maintained and offer a serene escape from the bustling city. A big thumbs up for this hotel. Everything about the hotel from start to finish was amazing - treated like royalty. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Arrived at airport to be greeted by our hotel pick up. Lovely drive in the Mercedes E class with Wifi. Arrived at the hotel to a lovely warm welcome to be greeted for our anniversary. Was swiftly taken to our suite and checked in at the room. Lovely anniversary decor did and chocolate cake with red roses all over. Made us feel really special. Breakfast was a good variety although a bit busy due to a conference at the hotel but everything was available and nothing short. Horizon club was a wonderful longe to spend a good couple of hours enjoying a good chat with other guest and staff are on the ball and really serve you a smile. The club was busy but expect ted due to the festive season but everyone still got to be served and had there share of what the club offered. Good hotel exceptional stall overall a good stay. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.

The service has always been consistent and the upkeep of the rooms and grand lobby amazing. Rooms have a big space the views are spectacular. The location of the hotel is also very central. It's just a 5-10 minute walk from the Petronas towers and KLCC. The staff recommended Madame Kwan's restaurant in KLCC for an authentic Malaysian meal, and that was a great choice. The room is wonderful with all the amenities needed. Housekeeping keeps the rooms really clean. I used the gym. It was a large gym with lots of machines. I would not hesitate to book again a room in this hotel.
