    Always In Good Location

    Hotel Jen located at centralized strategically at Georgetown. The Art street within walking distance and we conducted our own ‘treasure hunt’ to find the ‘art pieces’ of murals & sculptural arts, stated in the hotel’s tour map. Newly refurbished we had beautiful rooms with interconnecting doors. Really close to malls, restaurants. Staff was lovely and concierge incredibly helpful. Breakfast was extensive. However we were put in a room next to the lift and could hear the lifts going up and down, can also hear the water in the next room.

    We booked a king Deluxe room in the hotel based on online reviews and it had the ones with the least negative comments obviously there are areas in improvement. The hotel is very centrally located with 2 shopping Malls beside it and a 7-eleven just opposite the road. None the less it is walking distance from all the touristy locations in Georgetown. Even travel to Batu Ferringhi and nearby Malls is quite good if using services like Grab. The rooms are comforting and the bed is huge with soft pillows. You also have the option of choosing Memory foam pillows. The bed can easily accommodate a child up to the age of 5-6 yrs. The bathroom was a tad bit smaller but had all the amenities. The hotel had very friendly staff especially Simon in the coffee shop in the lobby who was always smiling and quick on his feet. The breakfast has a good choice of buffet and is quite extensive. I think the areas of improvement would be the Check in time as many reviews do also suggest that it takes a tad bit longer, I think the management should take some action towards it. The second I would say is Housekeeping where sometimes it was seen that the room was very superficially cleaned and still there were slight dirt around. Apart from that there were no issues and would definitely stay back and also recommend it to others.
