Was excited to stay here especially given the expense and that it was a big treat for my birthday. 2 night cost £€860 a double room executive for 2 (am none the wiser what the term 'executive' means in this hotel as room was very standard and there was no lounge access or additional extras that we were made aware of) including breakfast from 9th-11th of November. initially at check in the gentleman I was dealing with said we had a beautiful room on the 2nd floor with high ceilings over looking the courtyard.....then when he gave us our key it was on the 7th floor and had a view into a neighbouring office building...the room was very standard and nothing to write home about, the bathroom was tiny and overall unimpressive. the breakfast was in a beautiful room and was very good, we had it to the room the following morning which was also nice but the restaurant was better. he bar was very nice. staff very nice and loved the cool uniforms. I would return to go to the bar or restaurant but would not stay again as there are much better rooms for better value in other 5 stars in london.
