A good value hotelWe have stayed here before and have always been pleased. The car parking facilities are excellent and unusually for a town centre hotel at no extra charge. On this visit the room was small but for one night not a problem. The only minor gripe was that at breakfast (buffet style) the food was very good but a tad on the cold side.

Good Hotel in central HarrogateTwin room was large, clean and comfortable. Lovely traditional hotel in very good setting, centrally placed with pleasant frontage and outlook. Free car parking - so important. Generous tasty breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Very happyWe only stayed 1 night but were more than satisfied with the hotel. Comfy beds and pillows, clean and attractive interior. Friendly and helpful staff, and the scrambled egg at breakfast was excellant.

Good Central LocationHotel reception was efficient and friendly. Room was compact but clean and satisfactory. Breakfast food was very good and the service was also very good. The facilities in the hotel were good and the central location and car parking was a real bonus. We would stay again.

A Lovely PlaceA lovely hotel, charming and welcoming. I was only there for one night but found my stay very enjoyable. Reception staff were very amiable and helpful. Room was very good. Can't fault anything really. Location was ideal, right in the heart of the town. I'd definitely stay there again. Loads of VFM!

Hotel location is excellent for shops bars and places to eat. The free car-parking is very good. Unfortunately the room we were allocated was very poor and very dissapointing as the hotel was not full. It was very small and dark with a pipe running across the ceiling above the headboard. The bathroom tap was broken and shower gel was empty. There was no view at all and very noisy with the air conditioning fans outside with the windows open. We should have complained but as we were only staying for one night didn't bother. We would not return and will not be recommending the hotel to friends. Not good value for money even at the discounted rate of laterooms.

White Hart HotelThe room was basic, (but comfortable). The location is central, yet superbly QUIET (5 other friends relocated here for their second night, due to the noisy location of their central hotel). The availability of inclusive parking is a bonus (compared to some other hotels with similar location),The inclusive breakfast was excellent. The staff were courteous and professional.

One night stayOK for one night, brilliant location, quiet yet dead central, plenty of safe car parking. Room was tatty though, looked like a residential nursing home (used to be a convalescent home many years ago) Strangely the hotel main toilets were 1st class and dining and sitting areas very nice but room was old, decor very poor, orange red paterned bedspread looked dodgy and bed was as hard as nails. Aspect to the rear over looking car parks but lovely and light as had 3 windows.

three nights in the white hart in harrogateThis was a clean and friendly hotel. There were very few guests when we arrived but the last two days had conference guests so the numbers increased. I found the accommodation clean and comforable and the staff friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Our stay at the White HartMy boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel on a Saturday evening after it had been a very hot day. The window had been opened before our arrival which meant that the room was lovely and cool. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a very central location with many restaurants and bars within walking distance and it must be for this reason that the hotel do not serve dinner in the evening.I have to say that the ambience of the hotel is lacking simply because there is no reason to stay and relax there as there are no grounds to sit in and the bar was empty because many guests had attended a wedding elsewhere. There are no leisure facilities either although we knew this when we booked. The breakfast was delicious!Overall this is an ideal hotel to stay at if you want to explore Harrogate and all it has to offer.

White Hart Hotelexcellent location, great value for money, helpful staff. Showers could be modernised - but most hotel showers are a bit restrictive and don't cater for anyone over 5ft !!

A good, clean, central hotel with a bit of charatcterWe've stayed in Harrogate many times now, but this was our first stay at the White Hart. The room rate was good, and the on-site parking was also very important in this car-owner town. We were made welcome, the reception staff were discrete but there if you needed them, and the room was cleaned very well throughout our six day stay. For a few days the breakfast service was a bit dodgy, with the two young men on service less than welcoming, and with items of food running out and being left for someone to speak up before being replaced; but this improved towards the weekend and generally food quality was good. The hotel itself is an interesting building and it leads straight on to the Montpellier quarter - ideal. I'd stay again.

a pleasnt hotelHaving stayed here before I had no hestation in booking again for myself and my mother. We had single rooms and mine was comfortable and clean. My mother's was slightly smaller and her bed was also smaller and a little hard.Having found the bathroom floor very slipy on my last stay (I actually silpped and fell) i asked for a non slip bathmat which I was told was not available. This was not good.Other than that I have no complaints about the hotel
