Dolly Parton’s amusement park in Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, is situated just six miles from this resort. The cabins at the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort have walking trails from them that lead guests into the woods of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Guests enjoy watching craftsmen at the local Arts and Crafts Village, or souvenir shopping at the local shops. Trolley service is available from the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort and goes to area attractions as well as Dollywood in Pigeon Forge.

Most of the suites at the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort offer views of the river or mountainside, and include kitchens, spas, washer and dryer units, fireplaces, and more.

The resort and cabins occupy 70 acres of land. The property has the 60,000 square foot Wild Bear Falls Water Park (extra fee), two outdoor swimming pools, and hot tubs for all the water fun you could want. Guests of the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort can get their workout at the on-site fitness facility and stock up on food at the on-site marketplace. A health spa, restaurant, and lounge are also located on the premises.

What are your breakfast options?: We have many different options for breakfast in our area. We do have a restaurant on property; they are open for breakfast from 8:00am-12:00pm. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are very large. We have many restaurants in Gatlinburg as well as Pigeon Forge, so you will not have any trouble finding a wonderful place to eat. There is one that we recommend to everyone. It's called the Pancake Pantry, located in Gatlinburg only 1 mile from the resort. Their hours for breakfast are from 7:00am -3:00pm.
What transport is available to get around?: The main means and recommended transport vehicle is the trolley. We have two trolleys that stop here at the resort. One is the pink trolley (they're all color coated) that will pick you up here and that runs into Pigeon Forge, it will go straight to Dollywoods information center and then straight to Dollywood, from Dollywood it will go to Patriot Park which is the station for all Pigeon Forge trolleys. That is $1.00 every time you get on, and it will run every hour. The next one that picks you up here is the purple trolley, which will take you from the resort straight to the aquarium in downtown Gatlinburg. The aquarium is the station for all the Gatlinburg trolleys. It runs every 15-20 minutes and it's 50 cents.

As far as transportation to and from airports the only option is taxi.

Beach: We are in Tennessee so we have no beach. The closest one is 3-4 hours away in SC. We have no transportation for that specifically, you would have to rent a car or try to find a taxi company that would take you that far.
What can I do nearby?: There are so many different kinds of entertainment in and around this area. Shows are one of the most popular types of entertainment. We have quite a few shows in the area, one to fit every kind of interest. We have our national park that provides a lot of outdoor entertainment, hiking, biking, horse backriding, camping, rafting, tubing, rock climbing.

Since we are a tourist town, we have all the boulevard entertainment, such as go carts, carnival rides, etc.
Do you have internet?: Yes we do have internet in all our units. The price for non-owners is $9.99/24 hours, $24.99 for 3 days, $39.99 for 7 days. For Westgate owners, it is $4.99 for 24 hours, $12.99 for 3 days, $24.99 for 7 days.
Do you provide parking?: We do have parking available on property. There is plenty of free parking in Pigeon Forge, but not in Gatlinburg.

Since Gatlinburg is such a small town, parking is very hard to find. They have paid parking lots that cost anywhere from $5.00-$10.00.
