great hotel. staff are very attentive and impressive beside of being their mestiza and mestizo. casino is great also and food at UNO was so yummy... if i could go back again to cebu for a vacation, i would stay again in waterfront lahug....keep up the good work.

The rooms are excellent, well furnished, and all the staff were very attentive to any needs that i requested! I could say nothing more. The specialty restaurants are awesome. Waiters and waitresses are very friendly and the service was very good! Their Japaneses restaurant was my main venue for food, the Sushi chefs are the best! The spicy tuna was amazing! I am looking forward to being there at the hotel, maybe before christmas.

the waterfront hotel is one of the best hotels i have ever stayed at in my life.Allthough the hotel is a large hotel and has a large turnover of guests from stars to the common man they treat every one the same and it allso keeps an atmospher of a small family hotel,for me its a home from home.

The room was too small, too dirty, and the price was way too much. No comparison to the Marriott.

The first time I stayed at this hotel I was treated like royalty. This stay they put me next to someone who had a party going all night that didnt stop until I called and complained at 2 am. Then at checkout I asked about a missing camera which I assume was stolen or lost at the hotel because we rarely went out and the desk person was more concerned about a missing hand towel they claimed we took. Maybe the cleaning person used it to wrap my camera in? The free breakfast was great the 1st day but on the second they had overflow go to a second restaurant that was not prepared for breakfast ruining the free breakfast deal. Last night they only half made our bed, probably to busy stealing camera.We also had same drinking glasses the whole stay, I think they cleaned them with a wet rag in room.

The superior rooms need urgent a renovation.The bathrooms don´t match to the room class and to the room price the hotel want for it.Overall a very good hotel with an amazing breakfast buffet.

our overnight stay at watefront lahug was just a brief encounter but definitely a memorable one. Kumon Iloilo booked my nephew and his mother here for it's 2008 awarding ceremonies. Thanks to my brod in law paid for my fare just to accompany them. The location is fairly near the airport and Ayala. The staff was courteous and friendly. upon checking in, we glanced at a handsome n mestiso sports reporter who would cover a boxing event at the ballroom that nyt. Going inside the casino is quite amazing for a first timer like me. Its impressive to be and see the alley of international restaurants below the casino. It's like walking along the world with its grand picturesque design. How i love the breakfast buffet at UNO, wide variety of breads, bacon, sausages, and the omelet station. Pasalubong is never a problem as Madeleine provides breads for loved ones to crave for.Speaking of "first time", glad we had the chance to see eddie gutierrez n annabelle rama at the lobby of the hotel.

The hotel amenities mean that there will always be people staying there. However, this has generated a blase attitude in the staff. A huge contrast between this hotel and the Marriott which we stayed the night before. We will never stay there again.

well if you are into gambling this is the place to be its not like casinos in macau or las vegas but worth the time to go. buffet breakfast has a lot of choices too. quiet far from touristy places.
