Tulip Inn Bergen op Zoom is situated in the old settler town of Bergen op Zoom, along the banks of the river de Schelde. The hotel, located on the edge of this Burgundian town was build in 1930 and it's characteristic ambience has earned it National Heritage status. Bergen op Zoom and the Grote Markt have plenty to offer. A varierty or restaurants, bars, terraces and splendid buildings dating back to the Middle Ages are to be found around the Grote Markt. The museum Het Markiezenhof and the theatre De Maagd,as well as many shops are to be found in the centre of Bergen op Zoom. De Binnenschelde, a lake and boulevard offering recreational activities, lies just 800m from the hotel. A lovely area of countryside, where natur can be enjoyed, lies 1500m away. Antwerp and Rotterdam are easily accessible. The North Sea coast, where sea, sun and beaches await, is reached within half an hours drive.
