The English speaking staff. Hard and not free internet access. This is a basic hotel. There are no amenities. No spa. No pool. No exercise facilities. The Beds are like sleeping on a plywood plank. Really hard beds. Difficult internet access. The computer is old and not fast and they charge $4.00 USD for 30 minutes. Cameras, "real" watches, computers, etc are selling for a lot less here in the U.S. Since the British left 10 years ago we found the use of English is not common anymore. The fees and taxes really shocked us at checkout. But all in all us had a good time in Hong Kong but be aware that there is rapid change in Asia.

Apart from their Wireless internet connection fees being expensive it was a great hotel to stay in. Really good. I did book a non smoking room/floor and ended up on a smoking one, but this was only noticeable in the hallways upon leaving our room so not an issue.

Hotel staff could do with some customer service training. For a few dollars more you can stay at a much better hotel with far better service.

Too expensive for such a small room! Good location in Mongkok. Our non-smoking room had a bad cigarette smell! The only thing good about this hotel is location. Should be priced around 4-500HKD.

The location of the hotel is very good, near to the ladies market and MRT station. The hotel service is very good and the buffet is everage. Overall rating is good and will come back to staying again.

Excellent location with lot of shops and foods stalls. Breakfast was same through my five days stay but if you feel like eating out was very convenience as the prices was reasonable. Counter staffs service was good.

The location of hotel is great but the bed was very firm. Probably an Asian thing. Room was not fancy but sufficient and wireless broadband was great! There wasn't an clock in the room which was a pity and the soap/shampoo/ conditioner were all in one liquid dispenser! Can't fault the service but I stayed there for 10 nights, which was a reasonably long time and sort of expected a little more in complimentary offerings but did not get any! As such, I'll probably just try another hotel for my next trip to Hong Kong.

my room was super small, included breakfast was good, internet access for HK$100.00 was too much, location was near MRT and shopping area.

Room was small but kept very clean. Staff were brilliant and very helpful. Great breakfast! Good location as it is only 10 minutes walk from Ladies Market and the electrical goods area.

Hotel is in good location, Mongkok, about 10min walk from MTR. Very good if you love shopping as shops around the area stay open until late (midnight). Non-smoking room is full of cigarette smell. Service is so-so. Used to be around 5-600HKD, but prices have gone up recently. Not bad value for money.

Friendly and informative staff, great location and impressive reception. Only suggestion would be more comfortable beds, they were rock hard!

A promotional double room cost about £160.00 for three nights. Depending on the type of holiday you are taking will determine if you think this is good value or not. Used to backpacking in some of the worlds more affordable destinations I did not think my stay was particularly good value for money however it did compare favourably with other hotels in the Kowloon area hence my decision to select. BBC world service on the plasma was a bonus. The lobby/lifts were plush and the hotel staff efficient enough when they were required. A few doors away is somewhere to eat and a short walk will take you to a near night market. If you take the airport express to Kowloon and then catch a taxi to the hotel this will cost about another 3 or 4 quid. It's a good 10 minutes walk along Waterloo Rd to the nearest red line MTR stop on Nathan Road. Andy

Service is good, and room is clean. It's near to the subway station and many shopping and eating places around - great location. You can't expect much for space in Hong Kong. But with the kind of price you are paying, it's definitely value for money.

Room is clean, but small and narrow. Lobby is also small, unimpressive and uninviting. Good location.

Very near to Mongkok MTR station which means you can do late night shopping and head back to the hotel anytime you want.

They claimed free Wi-Fi, but there was practically no signal, so there really wasn't free Wi-Fi. And they didn't really offer much help of how to get to places. The good part is that it's clean and close to MTR.
