Location is very good. No king/queen/full bed for a couple. The location is good, it is very close to shopping center, hotel is quiet, nice. But there is no king/queen/full size bed for my husband and I, we have to sleep in a double bed room.

It was the second time we stayed at Stanford Hillview Hotel. We loved the location which is very quiet in this busy area, nice bars and restaurant around. No doubt, we will come back to stay here again.

This is a great hotel, fantastic staff, reasonably priced, wonderful location, i'm running out of superlatives. Nestled right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, within walking distance to MTR, star ferry, temple st night market. Great Cafe's and shopping right on the door step. Well Done

The hotel was average, nothing spectacular and nothing bad. But it was difficult to reach because it is sitting on top of a hill. You also need to go up a flight of stairs to reach the front doors. We skipped the stairs and instead went in through the B1 garage and took the elevator up. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if you took a taxi there but we relied on public transportation and our own two legs.

This hotel locates at the end of Knutsford Terrace where alot of nightlife takes place. Despite this. its very quiet. Room is of decent size with a firm mattress which I enjoyed. It does need some modernizations though - such as electronic room key & updating the TV sets. Bathrooms need to be redone & should soap bars instead of liquid soap dispensary. However. for the price I paid, it was well worth the money! The free Wifi tipped me to this hotel. Who wants to pay 120/day for that?

One of the primary reasons to select this hotel in HK was that they have wireless networking mentioned on their website along with other facilities like Gym etc. None of them are mentioned if they are free or not, and they charge for the internet. It is not the price but if they are going to charge for it then they should clearly mention it on the website. Quite a long and steep walk to any subway station. The cleaning staff do an excellent job. The breakfast is just ordinary and has no variety at all.

A great chopice for shopping and out of the way so it's quiet. There is a complimenary shuttle to the airpoort train so no problem with heavy luggage. Rooms are small (typical of HKG) but clean. A nice palce to stay.

Classic, comfortable, clean, beyond expectation, friendly and very helpful staff. None Very comfortable bed, especially after a day of walking and shopping. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Service is excellent. We would recommend Stanford Hillview to everyone.

Charging for access to Internet for the laptop is not what we as world wide travellers are accustomed to but it was available in the bedroom so I expect this is normal in HKG. The room was very old fashioned but the beds were very firm and comfortable and after a long flight, appreciated. Poor lighting in bedroom area We arrived at 11p.m. HKG time and thought that maybe the hotel would have some light snacks available. They did not and the bar area closed 12 midnight (our internal clocks were still on Australia time - 3p.m.) Asked for Irish coffees and as they had no cream unable to warm ourselves up! The bar area staff ignored us to begin with at 11.p.m. and at breakfast there was a problem with finding a waitress/waiter. Could not fault the commissioner and the taxi driver, very efficient!

Although this hotel is at the top of a hill, we are in our 50's and it really wasn't a problem. There are also short cuts through shopping malls and lifts that make access easier. Really great breakfasts and helpful staff. In particular the tour operator they had on site was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The Stanford Hillview is an excellent plade to stay. The rooms are fairly small but most rooms in Hong Kong are so that's really not a problem. The location is pretty good, near an MRT stop and a 15 minute walk from the Star Ferry. There are some good restaurants near the hotel.

Great location, just a short walk to shops and many bars/cafes. Good value breakfast at the Hotel. We were able to check in early and all staff that we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quite spacious. I would stay there again.

Hotel is located in the centre of HK. Lots of restaurants nearby. Room was of average to small size but was adequate for two people. Room and bathroom was clean. Good value for the budget conscious traveller.
