The first room I was given looked fine at first glance, but after I sat my bags down I lifted the pillows and there were small pieces of hair and what looked like dandruff all over the bed. When I called the front desk, the clerk was very nice about it. She came to inspect and then gave me another room. The second room was great. Nice and clean. I enjoyed the rest of my stay.

Comfortable beds. No microwave, refrigerator, iron. The room was small, the batteries in the remote were dead the replacement remote also had dead batteries. The was one bar of soap in a twin bed room and we had to call down to the front desk for extra towels and soap. We had to put down a deposit of 25 dollars to use the iron. A 50 dollar deposit to order a movie! I would never get a room there ever!!

We stayed here for 3 days in late Dec. 08. At first glance the room seemed clean- no shower mold, dust, etc. On closer inspection, the sheets were dirty, there were hairs in one bed and there was food under the bed. For the two adults and one child registered, we were given two towels. We requested more the first night, but were told there were no more-they'd get some and call us. They didn't. We requested extra towels the next morning, and were told it would be done. They weren't there that night-we had two fresh towels, but only two. Again, we asked at the desk and were told to give them twenty minutes. After forty-five minutes, we called to check and were told we should come to the desk. We were given one additional towel. The next day, the maid changed the towels and left us only two, again. Our key cards did not work after the first night and we had to go to the desk and get new ones- not sure why. We were woken up two of the three nights by loud voices and shouting by other guests at 1am and 3am, respectively. The hotel is right off the expressway and near a busy shopping area. The neighborhood has new and on-going construction, but seems on the edge of decline. On the positive side, the desk staff was generally friendly, if inefficient at times. Overall, however, our stay was less than pleasant.

I got there are a drunk prostitute and john were roudy - in the lobby. The staff were unable to make door cards - for me or themselves. So, I couldn't get in my room. The lobby was grunge 80's corporate style and dirty. The clientel seemed to have more in common with a prison than a hotel. Not recommended at all!

The hotel was in a good location & easy access but did not want to accommodate online reservations the same as the ones made directly w/hotel. Orbitz said to call hotel to request certain room accommodations but the hotel would say we needed to contact Orbitz. The cleaning staff were very helpful & efficient & the rooms were clean & roomy. Check in was also very slow.

Room was comfortable with a desk and chair, microwave and refrigerator. I wish they offer complimentary wireless as well. Also you need to deposit 10$ for iron and stand and get it from the counter. I wish they could spend some money on getting new covers for the iron stand which had so many stains on it. But overall, it was worth the price I paid for it.

The Red Roof Inn Lansing IL. was a great hotel for the money. I didn't like paying a deposit for the iron and board, but overall everything was o.k. Bathtub were really slippery it would be nice if they would put that stuff in the bottom of their tubs that make them not so slippery.

The Red Roof Inn Lansing was ok. I had a simple issue there were sheets that had dirt on then on the bed and the pillowcase had makeup. These were very clear. The staff did replace the sheets with frsh ones from the dryer, but just dropped them off they did not remake the bed. Other than that the stay was uneventful.
