Overall the hotel is run down, the rooms are too small and not the cleanest. The breakfast is a poor excuse for continental breakfast, can't comment on other food because after seeing the breakfast I did not come back to the restaurant. Oh, and if you are claustrophobic even in the least, I'd recommend trying to get a room on the ground / 1st floor. The lifts are as big as a match box, barely for two people to fit in or a persone and a suitcase...

The location suited me as I know the area. I would have liked air conditioning but for the price I was satisfied as I was on my own. The hostel across the road was noisy at nights. Young people talking and laughing till very late.I would go there again but would request an air conditioned room(if available).

I arrived at 3.00 PM and was allocated room 115, however room 115 had not been done! After 20 minutes I was allocated room 201. There is no information in the hotel reagarding anything. I wanted to use the safe, and that was working. Even the management could not get it working. The Climax was a phone bill of 172 pounds for a single call of 29 minutes to Kenya. As far as I am concerned, this is daylight robbery. I made the call with knowledge of BT and SKY ates to Kenya. I was disgustd to be charged 6 times BT or SKY rates. And to add insult to injury, they charge one pound per piece of luggage that you leave, should you want to pick later, if you have to leave after check out.

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, vivamente consigliato!

A little dated but clean. Small for a twin (originally a single room by the size if the headboard on wall), just about 2 feet space around the 2 singles which were pushed together. Bathroom suite old, but clean. Adequate for a nights stay over and at 52 for 2 including breakfast I can't complain, have paid more for a lot less in London!

The young lady on receprion was very dour and the renovations being done to the first floor made everywhere seem messy. The room was fine, large, comfortable and sparse. The tap water was revolting! The shower was one of those wonderful adventures where you have to guess when the person next door is going to flush so you can step to one side to avoid burns and the shelf in the bathroom was strategically sloping so nothing could sit on it!Breakfast was dull and uninspiring and the tea was disgusting. Other than the same pretty (but dour) lady on reception it was fine as a business one-night stopover - better than many others I've used in London and convenient for the tube.

Shower tray filled to the top within 2 minutes and took 5 to drain. Room was in the basement and very hot. Breakfast was basic but good, oh yes, had to share dining room with a mouse. Good value but as usual you get what you pay for.

Throughout the duration of our stay, every member of staff we encountered failed to say one word to us. Even upon check in, the lady did not speak at all. I expected to be greated with a smile. This was not just poor customer service, it was also plain rudeness. Our room was unclean and we had ants in the bathroom. We did change rooms which was a suprisingly easy process. However, I was then unimpressed to find that our new room had an open door onto the street instead of a window, with a mere chain for 'safety'. I could have easily broken the chain. It was a humid night but we closed the door as we felt very unsafe in the room. My stay at the Queens Park Hotel was an overall, unpleasurable stay. I work in the travel industry and will make sure that my colleagues know not to stay with you.

Hotel is in prime location with an easy access. Food is average. And staff are kind as well. The rooms though are kept clean , very small and claustrophobic. No proper ventilation. I understand the space is very tight in central London and not every room can have good windows. But if they set up air condition and exhaust in bathrooms, then it will be of help and adds more value for our money. Also it allows more air to circulate and healthy living and breathing.

Our room was clean and tidy with a nice modern ensuite bathroom. The room was hot but then it was a very humid day when we stayed there (near 30 degrees outside!). The continental breakfast was delicious and you could have anything from the selection of peaches and grapefruit slices, croissants and toast, mixture of jams, breakfast cereal and drinks. Extremely good value for money considering this hotel is in central London near to Hyde/Kensington Parks and the tube station. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others.

First 2 nights in a basment room, then upgraded to second floor. Rooms were not ready before 5.00pm. Other hotels which I booked through you were always ready by 2.00pm or 2.30pm. Another complaint is we had to pay 1stg for each luggage for keeping them for us for some hours after checking out, after staying there for 7 nights (3 persons).

Not bad to say I booked the night before, cheap and cheerful accommodation in a great location for Paddington and the surrounding area - not your typical Paddington dump! The concierge staff were pleasant but the breakfast staff were understaffed so pretty stressed. Never the less, a nice fry up!

Staff didn't want to take into account discount obtained during booking process on Venere (had to fight !!!). Room too small, dirty splash on the walls, blood spots on towels, holes in the carpet... very very old bed, old sheets and blankets, 40°C in the room... A very bad place Hopefully breakfast was OK. Don't think about obtaining a smile from the staff.
