The Blue Ridge Parkway is just 14 miles away. Mount Airy is the birthplace of Andy Griffith. Visitors are invited to step back to a simpler time. A stroll down Main Street in the Friendly City will remind people of the town of Mayberry. We were very impressed with the location and it was not far from the Blue Ridge Parkway! The staff were very nice and we were happy that they did not enforce the 10pm pool rule. It was very nice!

Location was close to attractions. Room was dirty & smelly, staff not very friendly or available-out smoking. Over priced for the quality of room. Room had a musty odor and light bulb was burnt out. Staff was not always available as they were usually smoking outside. Ran out of different foods at breakfast, had to tell staff. Pool was clean.

The motel was packed on this particular weekend and the staff was constantly busy, but yet always courteous and helpful. Many of the guests were part of several youth sport teams and the staff did a nice job of managing were guest were located. The room was as expected and I had no complaints. It was too cold to use the pool but I did enjoy being able to connect to the Internet via their wireless service while staying there. Ruby Tuesday is right across the street and Chile's is only a block away. To sum it up, I thougth it was a good motel in a good location, for a resonable price.

we stayed in the back where it was quite and cozy we had a okay breakfast the staff were friendly we have recommened the hotel to my family,they are going to stay there in the next month

was very clean. my wife & i really enjoyed the privacy we needed for our honeymoon. we recently renewed our vows and the staff was very pleasant.

Convenient to locations, continental breakfast. Rooms, especially bathrooms may need updating. Good location for Mt. Airy activities. Staff helpful in booking rooms in blocks.

When we got to the hotel, we saw and heard drunks on the balcony. Low and behold, our so called reserved room was the room between the two rooms that they occupied. We did not sleep or relax all night. They slammed doors, talked loudly and were up all night. Most of the night they were standing outside our door. We left the hotel at 6 A.M. out of frustration. There was some of them outside our door on the balcony. We will never ever stay at any Quality Inn!

Clean, plenty of towels, good continental breakfast, close to sites, friendly employees. I wouldn't say that there was anything that we didn't like. Excellent hotel for the price, I've paid more for less! Staff were friendly and overall excellent, continental breakfast was nice... They seemed to care very much about our being comfortable. We certainly got much more than our "money's worth"

"AC didn't work, made extremely loud noise, was loose from wall. Front desk just hissed about it next morning when I complained. Didn't get good response from Choice Hotels either."
