Staff worked hard to make you happy. Room was small. Would stay here again and probably will as we will be traveling to Chico as new great grandparents.
Date of Stay:
April, 2008
Very clean, staff very friendly; some nice amenities- a little evening social, nice buffet breakfast, PET FRIENDLY. A little high for EVERY visit, but we stay here 2/3 of the time at least. Always meets expectations, and they will really try to get you in for graduation if at all possible (2x) Would consider staying at their other locations if the opportunity arose.

Most of the staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast and free evening appetizers were great! Just a warning to health concious people who like to take the stairs instead of the elevator: the stairs smelled like cigarettes.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel, but we had not remembered the beds being so hard. Maybe because we have a great mattress at home. Anyway, we were miserable. It was extremely hard, almost like sleeping on the floor! My hips and back are still sore.Other than that, things were pretty good. Great staff, very friendly. Very good evening and morning free buffet. The rooms were clean and quiet; close to shopping and restaurants. So, great place to stay if you like a VERY firm mattress. Maybe the hotel could offer one of those foam pads for people who have trouble sleeping on a hard mattress.

The cocktail hour was wonderful. Good food, beverages, etc. The hotel was under construction which we were not told of ahead of time. The parking lot had no parking spots left due to construction trucks! The hotel will be nice once the renovations are done. We were awakened with banging at 8 AM. Not good if we were not leaving that morning!

This is a wondeful place to stay in Chico. The rooms were clean, the service was wonderful and the evening refreshments were great. Breakfast in the morning is a plus. I would receommend this hotel for wither a night or a longer stay.

Pool, breakfast/appetizers, close proximity to shopping. Toilet didn't work two days of the three we stayed, but they fixed it when notified. Great hotel for families - close to food, shopping, and entertainment. Staff provided a warm welcome and I felt it was well worth the expense.

We stayed for only one night- However if needed in the future we will stay for more to visit with relatives in the area. Happy Hour food and breakfast served were tasty, filling and Saved us a trip out. We used the sturdy and clean exercise equip. and steam saunas with privacy. The pool was clean and refreshing. Great Place - would reccommend to others.

This hotel has alot of nice things, breakfast, outdoor pool, & laundry. But the price was a bit high with our pets and the rooms are SUPER, SUPER SMALL. The hotel rooms were a little out dated. It might be nice in summer, but we would definately NOT stay there again.

Very nice, clean place andgreat value. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Although it does not have a restaurant, it does offer a decent hot breakfast and evening appetizers and bar. One perk, directly across the lane are restaurants such as iHop, Applebees, Red Lobster and Olive Garden. It is also right next to a couple of shopping centers with again, some decent restaurants. I am pretty particular about where I stay and I always stay at the Oxford Inn Suites when I am in Chico. The Chico location is the only one I can comment on.

The extra blankets and pillows. I really liked the price since we have a limited budget. Bathroom door opening the wrong way could get black eye in the night. We enjoyed the fact that we had a fridge, micro and coffee. The king bed was very comfy and we felt invited by the cleanliness and the decor of the towels. The cost was the best and I would stay again.

"plumbing ran in bathtub, beds too hard, smell of rotten wood from leak, had to leave early and find different accomodations"

Convenient. Clean. My shower leaked all night and the refrigerator did not work. The staff was very friendly and my room was clean. The key didn't work and the maintenance man came up immediately to fix it. The shower dripped all night. Reported it in the morning and they went right up to fix it.

"Stayed on 4th floor for 2 nights. Awesome! Free cocktails ea. night and full breakfast ea. morning. FREE use in bus. center w/ their internet computers and great rooms w/ fridges micros and living rooms! Stayed on first floor last night and heard everything! Doors closing, parking lot. Didn't sleep at all.We were right across from the business center that night YUCK"

Breakfasts were excellent, simple but more than cold continental breakfast. Nothing. People were friendly. The breakfasts offered each morning were simple and much better than a cold continental breakfast which is so often offered. The price was reasonable for what was offered. Choice of wine, soda perceivers in the evening are heavy enough to make a meal if you are not very hungry and do not want to go out.

Everyone was super. All of the soccer kids that were running up and down the halls and elevator which caused the elevator to over heat. The staff was excellent in taking. Care of this situation. Cj the evening mgr and his staff were excellent.

Location is close to shopping and restaurants fitness center with sauna and steam room. Hard mattress and worn out sofa. Great location, friendly staff, steam room and sauna in the fitness center sure helps to relax the body after a long trip or sleeping on a hard mattress.

Great location, daily breakfast, and evening reception. Mattress and pillows were too hard! Our stay at Oxford Suites was great. It is the perfect place to stay when you are traveling with pets. The hotel is very pet friendly. Some hotels charge exorbitant pet fees, but Oxford Suites only charged us $35.00 for both our dogs. The rooms were nice with a small fridge and microwave oven. The only thing I wish the room would have had was a table and chairs for eating meals. But, we were able to eat our meals by the pool, which was very nice.
