We had our Wedding here so there are many happy memories for us. We are looking forward to going back next month with our children but would like to see an update with a few things. The tree house could do with a revamp. It is always nice for things to be kept updated and have that fresh feel to them. Staff were excellent and our Wedding co-ordinator was fantastic.

Our first problem with this hotel was just trying to find it as there was no signs at all even telling us where it was. We drove up and down the main street until we finally found it so I would strongly recommend advertisement. After we found it we had no other problems. It is outside of Port Douglas so you have to drive to check out the downtown part but it is a very short drive! The rooms were awesome only flaw is that you have to pay extra to have your room cleaned, which didn't matter to us as we were only there 3 nights but our trash really started to pile up. The hotel area was beautiful despite they are going to remodeling and all the staff was very nice.

Good location for us. Not in main street but close enough by car to easily take advantage of what was on offer in town. Also quiet and peaceful. Within easy reach to beach with good walking access. Friendly, helpful staff with rooms a good size. Surroundings very pleasant with a tropical atmosphere. However the resort is somewhat dated and could do with a revamp to bring it back up to today's acceptable standards for accommodation of this level. (eg washing and drying machines out of order) Would stay here again

Hilary and Rob were excellent, very informative and friendly...they couldn't do enough. We left a number of high value items in the room and they have been good enough to post on to us as we go down the Australian coast!! Very nice people!! The accommodation was excellent, very clean room and facilities. The bed was huge and very comfortable! We have stayed in hostels all over Australia and found this place on line and it was cheaper than many of the hostels we have stayed in, we would definitely go back!! Ask Rob for directions to The Tavern pub, very cheap but excellent food and cheaper than the hotel!!

This is a fairly quiet resort and a little dated. It could stand to be updated and some repair. The staff is friendly and quite helpful. It is a little too far from town but a local shuttle runs regularily for $3.00/person each way. 4 mile beach is about 1 1/2 blocks away through the rear of the property. Would suggest booking a room that looks into the centre court yard/pool area.

Well ok, its part of Treetops resort which means youre a so you cant use gym and some restricted movement around but beautiful resort with nice pool, sea 4min walk, bus to the town $7 return, car from $60 a day Avis the best, diving $170/day, restaurants expensive frm $25 per meal..not much night life but family friendly and 10times chillier thn Carns..

Lovely, relaxing environment. Just a short shuttle ride into the heart of Port Douglas. Great pool, comfortable rooms. Was lovely to arrive and be given a cold towel whilst checking in, very refreshing after a long trip. Would stay here again.

Huge room, massive bed, great bathroom, fantastic views and scenery. The resort has a pool and 2 restaurants and 2 bars and 2 mins walk to the beach. Their is a creek and trees galour. Fair way out of town so will need to bus it or hire a car.

The pool temperature in the Mantra resort was way to low. Blue Leaf Rooms were absolutely outstanding.

Very friendly staff. Allowed me a 4:30pm check out!! Unheard of..... It is part of a bigger hotel chain so you can take advantage o their pools, bars and restaurants.

This place hasn't been renovated since it was the Raddison Treetops over ten years ago. But in saying that, it was a Raddison residence and it's still very nice. You get full use of the facilities that same as the Mantra Treetops and pay half the price. You cannot beat this for value for money.
