Second time I have stayed at the La Quinta and it was just as pleasant as the first.

The pool. Mean breakfast lady. Loved it!

Front desk person was not very friendly. Couldn't crack a smile for a weary Mom and son. Elevator was not only in need of a face lift, it needed vacuuming in a bad way and the hallway smelled sort of like skunk. The room looked ok at first glance but on closer inspection, it appeared the beds had just been made as if the same people were staying and opted to save water by not having the sheets changed. Found hair on both beds. Also hair stuck in the hair dryer. We were too tired to wait for bed changes so got our blanket and pillow from the car and slept on top of the bed spread, slept a few hours and got back up and kept driving toward home.

Internet service was not operating. Was told I could move to a room where the wireless was working. Moved, but same issue, weak connection with dial up speed downloads or no connection at all . Asked for discount or refund next day, no go. Room smellled moldy. Suggest other newer hotels on this strip if you care about internet service. If family wanting a pool, not bad.

Passing through, enjoyed the pool and breakfast.

No area for pets. Great place. I have two dogs and we always feel welcome and at home.

They must have been having thermostat trouble. The hallways were sweltering hot and then we about froze when we walked into the room as someone has left the thermostat on 60. We needed a crib and the sheet that they brought us with is didn't fit so the mattress curled. The desk clerk at check-in was so-so, and then there was no clerk on duty when we checked out, so after wating for about 10 minutes, I just left the keys on the counter and got out of there! Overall, for the money, I was not impressed.

I was just staying one night while passing through. We immediately smelled mold when we walked into the room. Other than that there were no other problems. The complementary breakfast was nice and sufficient. Bathtub and shower were clean and appreciated. There is plenty of space in the room, but the view is not ideal. The room was very clean, but there are few toiletries supplied. Good place to stay overnight, but consider a fancier place if staying for longer than a few days.

Not much. The staff, that I had to deal with in the morning, was absolutely rude, argumentative and not understanding to my needs. The hotel itself was fine I guess, I mean honestly, it was kind oflike staying at a motel 6 with a continental breakfast in the morning. The lady that checked me in was a sweetheart. The guy in the morning was not friendly. Asthe customer, I was inconvenience in his morning customer service routine.

Overall this is a pretty good hotel, kind of pricey but the main reason we picked this place is because it was pet friendly. Its hard to find a decent hotel (a clean one) that allows pet. Overall the place was clean, food was good, only complaint which is very minor is the shower curtain was way too short so water got all over the floor and the remote control didnt work and they didnt have any replacement remotes. Plenty of good parking, good trailer parking as well and very close to highway and restaurants. I give it an A!

It's hard to find a good place in Redding to stay... but the La Quinta needs some work. It is not up to the standards of other La Quintas we've stayed at. The staff was good, but the room and bathroom were dirty. The neighborhood was shabby. There was an empty beer can greeting us in the hallway across from our room when we checked in. The sheets were stained.

Hotel bed was comfy and enjoyed having a sliding glass door with balcony. It was great that they did not charge for having a pet, however I think we may have ended up with a less than clean room as a result. The room had spider webs and behind the curtains for the sliding door there was a lot of stuff. Pool was nice and bathroom was clean.

This was a good motel room for the price. It was clean and the customer service was very good. Patricia at the front desk was very nice and helpful and also recommended a great restaurant! A

Small, but nice and clean. Free continental breakfast has choices of kids cereal, which made the kids very happy. There are several restaurants nearby.

Great customer service One of the beds was not comfortable We accidentally left one of our suitcases in the lobby. I called later that day when we realized it. We were already home in Portland, Oregon. Front desk personnel took my name and address and phone and said she would have it mailed back to us, free of charge! We were very impressed with this gracious gesture and would stay here again just for that extra-added customer service.

If you are allergic to pets, do not stay here. After checking in, we noticed several large dogs roaming the halls. Checked at the desk for a ""non-pet"" room, and they said that they can't control which rooms have had pets in them but they clean the rooms thoroughly. They have a liberal pet policy and will accept any pet that people want to bring into the room. When I picked up a piece of clothing that had dropped on the floor, it was covered with dog hair. We will not stay in this hotel again.

We got there late and the whole town was smokey so we could not swim and you did not want to go outside because you could not breathe. So we just went next door for dinner and came back to our room. We left early the next morning to get out of the smoke, from all the forest fires burning in northern Calif.

Rooms were clean, service was good, check-in, check-out easy and convenient. Room faced freeway. A good place to stay for trips to the Redding area - convenient location, close to shopping.

The La Quinta Redding Inn was comfortable, the room was large enough to have a desk and very nice sitting chair. There was a separate sink with microwave and refrigerator. The pool was pleasant and towels were provided for use there. The location was very convenient to restaurants and Turtle Bay. The staff were very helpful and courteous. when we asked for restaurant recommendations they made special efforts to think about good places and then gave us written instructions. The free continental breakfast was very nice - it included juice, coffee, cereal, fruit, pastries, and a toaster to toast bagels or bread. It was well maintained and stocked, right up until the end of the dining period.
