The Hampton Inn in Redding was a great experience. The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the pool and there was plenty of space and lounge chairs around the pool. The breakfast that came with our room was decent but there was not enough seating in the dining area or someone to clear tables when guest were finished. The only real problem we experience was when it came time to leave the elevator was being repaired and we had to haul or lugage down the stairs.

The hotel was full to capacity (including at least one large Little League baseball team) but extremely quiet. Great beds, great pillows, large bathroom, in-room microwave and refrigerator, extremely clean and well kept all the way around. Terrific pool area too!

This is a great hotel for the price. New, clean, very beautifully decorated. Great breakfast buffett. New hot breakfast daily, plus the usual array of continental breakfast items. Free internet access. Outdoor pool and hot tub. Location is not exciting, (next to a vacant lot) but it is quiet, and not far from the freeway or stores.

Our room was very clean but the air conditioner sound like a jet taking off. It came on periodically during the night and woke us up every time. Needless to say, sleeping was very difficult.
