Our reservation and keys were ready when we arrived, we were greeted by name and welcomed to a clean quiet room.

It was convenient and had a continental breakfast. The hot tub had fungi and smelled. The hotel was clean, convenient, and comfortable. The front desk staff did not come quickly when we were checking-in. They were helpful with bus information and with check-out.

Nice hotel to stay at. Price is fair for being is Steamboat Springs. They have very nice beds, hotel looks new, nice staff. We never used the pool & spa, but they looked well kept for the guests to use.

The room was a good size for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the front desk staff was excellent and helpful. The pool and hottub were terrific and clean. The room was a bit dirty (dirty walls, needed vacuuming) and smelled like a smoking room even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. We were only given 2 towels each day despite booking a room for 4 people, had to request extra towels at the front desk each day of our stay. Overall, the price of the room was a bargain for this town, and we really enjoyed our stay here.

Friendly staff, good breakfast. Matress was worn. Good price and close to the slopes. Hearty breakfast started the day right. I'll stay at the LaQuinta again. Friendly and helpful staff.

This hotel has very nice beds. I was in Steamboat Springs for a day and La Quinta was a best choice. Hotel lookes new, breakfast in the morning was nice. I will come back to ski in winter.

Staff. Maids - room was never cleaned - trash left around room. We stayed for 5 days - great hotel if your primary goal is skiing. Staff friendly, but housekeeping sub-par.

Upon checking in, I was told I need to pay extra 35.00 for the resort tax. When I show them the paper with the detail billing, the hotel stated the resort tax was not included and needed to be pay if you want to stay here. It was not much money, but was just a surprises. I had been in so many ski resort for the past years, this is the first time I had encountered such problem. After checked in and unloaded the luggage, I tried to ask the direction to go to Gondola, and there was no help at all from the hotel.

Absolutely nothing. General manager was very rude. I requested 2 double beds instead of 1 king, as I was traveling with 2 young children. When I asked the general manager if he could help me find alternative accommodations in the area, he told me to look in the yellow pages, and indicated he had a right to refuse service to anyone. I informed him that this was the worst hotel service I had ever received, which was a true statement. Because there was little to no vacancy in the town at the time of my check in, I had little choice but to stay in the room available. The room smelled, the air conditioning didn't function properly, the Jacuzzi (for which I was charged extra) did not function properly, the sink fixtures and plumbing were loose, and the general manager was overly rude and had very little concept of customer service or how to properly operate a hotel property. Can honestly say that this experience was one of the worst in recent memory.

Place was reasonably priced, and although it's not luxury, it is quiet. A very relaxing place to stay if you are going up for the weekend.

Location / view. Noisy maids at 5a.m, no internet as promised. I will not stay at this hotel again. I am a student and needed to have internet service in room which they said they had, but you had to sit down by the front desk. This was also vacation but the air conditioner was load and the maids were very noisy at 5 am on a Sunday Morning.

"Beds were wonderful, rooms were very clean and big. Staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were quiet couldn't hear anything!!! Kids loved the pool. Baseball families I would recommend this hotel very kid friendly!!!!"

Cost. It was off season and staff had to be called rather than being at the front desk. Given how expensive steamboat springs is the motel was a great buy.

They got the best beds. I stay in hotels three days out of seven & i love this place because of the beds. You will not want to wake-up next morning.

Great room for the price. Pool and hot tub were dirty, with algae/scum around the edge. Very nice rooms with good space and great amenities for the price. Mine had a fridge/freezer that was bigger than a dorm fridge. Good for families as it had a nook for a rollaway bed or crib that is somewhat isolated so the child can sleep while you watch TV/games/etc. Hot tub and pool had algae/scum around the edges, not well at all. Should clean it better. The pool is nice, but not small child friendly. It is too deep for children under about 8, as is the hot tub. They won't be able to stand on their own. For adults they're fine. In steamboat, location isn't too important since it's so small. But this is not a ski-in ski-out hotel if that is what you need. Great for a summer stay with easy access to the town.

Very courteous, friendly, helpful staff. Very poor continental breakfast (penny pinching). Clean, basic accommodations in a beautiful location. Friendly staff, and a nice pool and Jacuzzi.

King size beds. See below. An alarm went off at 4 a.m. next door to us. We called down to the front desk, and no one was there. We went in person to the front desk and tried to find somebody. No one was there. Talked to the man the next morning about it, and he said that he's always there not! We had to wait one hour for the alarm to finally turn off. Real nice.

Excellent price. Nice rooms. Beautiful lobby, wood finish western style. The free breakfast is very bad. Overall, good hotel if you want to save money. We have been there twice and are happy with it. It is better than the average 2 star hotel.
