Each of the 22 rooms is adorned with Pendleton wool blankets, cable TV, telephone, air conditioning, old fashioned radiators, rustic log furniture and private bath. The indoor Jacuzzi tub overlooks Main street, and the on-site restaurant & bar, Mazzola's, a long time local favorite, serves Italian fare for lunch and dinner. Attention! The cancellation policy is only hotel orientated! Don't cancel a room. Try to sell your room on the market e.g. internet with a discount - you will loose less money!

We came to Steamboat for one night of a two-night getaway. So glad we stayed there; it was such a nice change from the usual chain hotel experience and even though we stayed on a Friday night our room was nice and quiet. Loved the old-fashioned appeal of the place; it was easy to imagine the miners who once roomed there. We appreciated the easy proximity of restaurants and leisure shopping. The freshener or whatever that was used in the room was a little heavy but otherwise we had no difficulties at all.

The Hotel Bristol was intimate and enjoyable. All rooms are non-smoking and there is no smoke residue or smell anywhere - this is very nice compared to other non-smoking rooms which still smell from the days when they were smoking spaces. The room was small, but well appointed with a very comfortable bed, a nice view of the adjacent ski jumps and the historic downtown area. There is no continental breakfast, but complimentary coffee and tea service in the lobby, which also contains a small library and sitting area adjacent to a fireplace. We didn't try the Italian restaurant downstairs, but it is close and convenient. We would certainly come back to this hotel...

It is a rather charming old restored hotel. Be prepared for the extremely small rooms at this hotel. The location is right downtown in the small town of Steamboat so that is a plus, but our room was tiny. Also there was no coffeemaker in the room. They said they had coffee at all times in the lobby, but we got up at 7:30 am and there was no coffee and noone around. As I was told later by the staff, we were supposed to make our own with instructions that were posted over the coffee maker, but that was not obvious. There were other hotels offering similar pricing with larger rooms and breakfast. There was basically no service involved in this hotel. We would not stay there again.

The Hotel is located at downtown area and they let us tocheck in early. However, the room was very small, very noisy air conditioning, very difficult to manage the temperature in the room, very cold.
