The hotel was very easy to find and is a superb choice if you are going to a concert at Earls Court like we did. It is literally around the corner, perfect! The hotel is a beautiful old building with modern refurbishment and I felt it was excellent value for money.

Very good hotel! Enjoyed my stay, excellent breakfasts. The only quibble was on the 2 occasions I did need to use the internet on the first there was a problem with the connection and on the second one family was letting their children monopolize the PC's playing games (which was not the hotel's fault).

Our family of 4 stayed at the K+K Hotel George, booking 2 neighboring but not connected rooms. The hotel is just 2 blocks from the "Earl's Court" tube (subway) station. Very convenient - we rode the underground from Heathrow rather than taking a taxi, which would have been extremely expensive. The Earl's Court tube station provides access to 2 different subway lines, so it was easy to get anywhere we wanted in London in a reasonable time. A variety of restaurants are within walking distance, as are grocery/convenience stores/newstands. The staff was friendly & helpful in giving directions, booking bus tours, recommending restaurants, etc. Rooms were clean and seemed to have been updated within the last couple of years. Rooms were small as are almost all European hotels, but there was plenty of closet space & shelving. The bathrooms are extremely small - it was not possible for 2 of us to stand at the sink at the same time. However, they did have a full tub, not just a shower. The beds were not the most comfortable - mattresses a bit hard - but not the worst we've ever experienced. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast "buffet" was expensive (US30) and not all that appealing--just the standard "English breakfast" you can get anywhere. I'm not fond of eating baked beans for breakfast, so I was content to get a coffee & bagel at Starbuck's only 1 block away. Surrounding neighborhood was generally well maintained and fairly quiet, and we felt safe at all times. Elevators are tiny and slow, but supposedly being replaced this summer. I would certainly stay here again.

This hotel is far from everything necessitating a $36.00 cab ride back from the West End theatres in the evening. The first room we were put in was extremely small, the windows couldn't open completely because we were behind the concrete ballustrades with no view, however, the pigeons perched on the ballustrades kept us awake. We found a room on the opposite side of the hallway that did look onto the garden ourselves and demanded the hotel let us move which they did. The bathrooms are extremely small, the rooms themselves are like a college dorm furnished by IKEA. This was not at all what we had hoped for the considerable expense involved. Many other much better hotels were available once we arrived however, due to our brief stay of only 3 nights, we did not want to waste time moving so we spent all our time away from the hotel from 10 AM until after midnight every night. The buffet breakfast was the only decent part of our stay. The hotel is primarily for German tourists. It is in no way "close to Harrod's and that upscale neighborhood.

I stayed at the K+K George for 5 nights while visiting in London. The hotel rooms were very small but extremely clean. The beds were tiny and were not very luxurious but they served there purpose. The biggest plus about the hotel is its location. While located outside of London, the K+K George is within a block of the Earl's Court tube stop. We used the underground every day to go sightseeing in London and Westminster.

The K+K is excellent in every way. The location is quiet, it's easy to get to by all means of transport. It is exceptionally clean and the rooms are light and fresh. The atmosphere is always good and the gardens are a delight. My wife loves the statue in the garden!

The K & K Hotel George was a great hotel for our 5 night stay in London. Excellent location 1/2 block from Earls Court Tube Station (15 min to main attractions). 3 great mini stores around hotel for snacks/sandwiches and light bfast. Local restaurants galore so you can save some money in a very expensive city. Stayed in Twin room (2 twin beds for double occupancy). Beds are twins but room is plenty big enough for an average stay. Nice big closets. Nice space near door for jeans, sweaters, etc. Bathroom is very small and shower only has one glass door (very weird). Even with that no water reached the main floor. Just have to take a shower in a smaller space than at home. Rooms were kept very clean each day we wanted service. Only negative which wasn't really a negative is that this is a German Hotel chain so half of the channels on the TV were in German (no big deal since it was vacation) Big Negative!!!!!!!!! DON'T BUY BFAST PERIOD!!!! At current rates it's 28.00 us per person. They will entice you with a buy one get second half price coupon but don't do it. If you want the "English Bfast" visit one of the local places on Earls Court Road or do what we did. After one blah day of McDonalds (Right next to the station) we went to Sansbury's and brought some bagels and bfast pastries 2 bottles of Tropicana and were plenty filled for the day. Again if you can fit this hotel in your budget do it. It also has central Air Conditioning which was needed during last weeks "heatwave"

Very nice hotel which makes a change for London. Did not eat in but Breakfast at £11 was a bit steep. Last time I stayedI could park my car next door but this time had to park at Seagrave Road carpark which is a good walk away especially withluggage. Hotel issued me with an £18 voucher but could do without the hassle. Apparently the hotel will have its carpark backearly next year when nearby building work is completed. Watch out for Traffic Wardens - you cannot park until 10.30 pm in theevening and this is enforced. I saw dozens of digital photos being taken of cars parked earlier. Very convenient for Earls CourtExhibition Centre and there are dozens of eateries and resturants within walking distance.

While not a seasoned business traveler, I have traveled to overseas several times and stayed in a variety of moderate-priced hotels. I scrutinize hotel reviews. That said, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay - yes the breakfast was expensive (ask for a deal on check-in and they will give you a 1/2 price voucher for the 2nd meal in your party), but it was delicious and a nice option for at least one of the days we were there. The desk staff was professional, courteous, and glad to help with tourist bookings. The rooms were small but perfectly adequate and neatly appointed. The bathroom was small, clean, and "euro-chic." The hotel is very convenient to the Earls Court tube stop, which put us close to everything we wished to see in London. We enjoyed being within walking distance to reasonably priced good food such as Wagamama (Japanese), Masala Zone (Indian), and MacDonald's (for a quick breakfast). We look forward to returning to London and will definitely consider the George as an option.

Hotels in London have become very expensive. This one is no exception, although it is a rather nice place. But 12 Pounds per person for breakfast is ridiculous. And the rooms, especially the single rooms (we had booked one single and one double) are small. The location of the hotel is good: not very central, but in a quiet back street and yet very near the Earl's Court tube station where one can catch a Circle Line or a District Line train as well as the Piccadilly Line. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpul, others far less so. One receptionist even refused to book a table in a restaurant. And one day one of the rooms was not made up, although there would have been plenty of time. (We were absent from 10 am till 4 pm.) At least the person in charge presented her excuses. It's possible that we would stay in the hotel again provided we find a good deal in the internet.

This was an excellent hotel which was superbly positioned very close to Earls Court tube station. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous and the rooms were fantastic with all amenities we would have asked for. The free wifi access was great for my daughter who brought her laptop and was therefore able to entertain herself!Overall, I was very impressed and whilst the rack rate may have been a bit steep for me, the Late Rooms rate we secured made this excellent value. We would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to others.

The hotel is a few steps from the high street with restaurants and shops, very close to the tube and Earl's Court exhibition centre. Room was roomy enough, bright and airy and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Never stayed in Earls Court area before but an ideal location for getting around London. The hotel receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with nice furnishings etc. The garden area was a pleasant surprise, very nice area to sit and have that first cup of coffee in the morning. Breakfast was outstanding and waiting staff were 100% Customer Focused in offering assistance and anything you needed - a pleasure

Our Executive Room was a reasonable size, though smelt a little stale when we first arrived. It was great to be able to open the French doors to allow in some fresh air, as many hotels fit locks that makes this impossible (air con is available in the room as well). We could not have wanted for a better choice at Breakfast - freshly prepared hot food, and a wide variety of fresh fruit, pastries, meats and cheese.

This is a great hotel in the centre of London where guests are still looked after the old fashioned way and service is key to their success - it was a pleasure to stay there and they definately have it right. Thank you for a very pleasant break

The K & K Hotel George is a delightful hotel, perfect for anyone needing to get to an exhibition at Earl's Court, as well as being fairly close to the shopping district at High Street Kensington and the Museums on Cromwell Road. The room was a little on the small side but had everything we needed. The bed was wonderfully comfy and the breakfast the following morning was absolutely gorgeous. I found the staff to be friendly and efficient and would have no hesitation in staying again.
