Great location for a city breakwalking distnace to all bars, restaurants, shopping centres and transport links. Cabs are also cheap and service is very quick.

Does what it says on the tinDon't expect luxury, but the value is OKDrinks are a little steep and the wine is a bit cheap. Food is OK..... Nothing fantastic.Rooms are OK... Although smokers do leave their smelly trail behind thembed is comfortable

Friendly and very helpfulOur whole experience of the hotel was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly, courteous and helpful, even allowing us to store our bags in a separate room for a short period of time, at no extra cost.

not as good as it used to beNot as good as it used to be: rubbish little TV with fuzzy reception, pay to use the internet, doors that slam far too loudly, cleaning staff that arrive early and spend ages talking loudly just outside the door, and a bed that was a bit too hard. I've stayed at the Jury's quite a few times a few years ago without much complaint, but this trip made me think of trying elsewhere - there are plenty of options in central Manchester after all.I think the Jury's is trying to be a cheap n cheerful hotel to compete with the Ibis, Travelodge etc, but fails to do cheap too well, and doesn't provide the quality that matches the price charged.

Friday for Rufus' opera premierNot a very appealing hotel. Checked in late - reception a bit grumpy. Room booked for 3 - only 2 towels, One provided when requested. Duvet cover clean but torn. Room didn't smell or feel clean - probably the bathroom.

ShowerThe shower in the room wouldn't change temperature, it was hot constantly and despite trying to turn the knob to a cooler setting it just got hotter and hotter to the extent that it was scalding.

Central location, good valueIn a very convenient location, right next to the Bridgewater Hall and a few minutes from Albert Square and Oxford Road station, this hotel is clean and efficiently staffed. Fine for those who just want a decent bed for the night - city breaks, business trips - but no real character or ambience. Machines dispense food and drink in the foyer. Didn't eat there so can't comment on restaurant and had minimal interaction with staff. Would stay there again because it is so central and we paid a reasonable price.

Hotel dreadfully signposted. Walked past it twice. Bath too small. No newspapers available if you did't book night before. Bare minimum of facilities

As a female travelling alone I was made to feel very welcome and all the staff were really helpful and friendly

What the website fails to expalin is that there is no parking - you have to walk 500 yards across roads and tramways in the pouring rain to the hotel. - Basically useless for travelers. In addition I was allocated a room for a smoker - which after argument I was able to change. I stayed in another hotel the following evening - much much better quality £10 more . would not recommend Jurys to anyone.

lovely room good valueWe needed a room for 3 after a concert at 160 all in in such a central location it was amazingly good value. The staff were helpful and considerate - they let us have a pizza delivered to the door of the room at 3am, booked us a cab and did a massive search for a phone charger - nothing seemed too much hassle. The only minor niggle was that you can't get a iron in your room the ironing room is on the third floor.

Outdated accomodation littered with issuesIn the words of the front desk staff...this is a very old hotel with alot of issues it really needs totally going over'. We had late check in, noisy air con which when complained about we were told 'this is quite normal' and 'did we want someone to come and have a look at it?' well of course we did, we were then visited by a maintenance guy at 12.30 am (yes this went on all night) who proceeded to stuff toilet roll in the vents and said that should be ok till morning...nice. In the morning there was no water to the rooms due to another problem with the maintence / boiler / plumbing. The milk for tea making in the room was stale and the toilets don't flush properly. I have stayed in budget room only accomodation which was far better than this experience. Not what I expected from a large chain in a city centre. Good points were ...actually there wasonly one .... it was kept very clean. Can't comment on food since it was that expensive and due to the location there was loads of far better places to eat ... so we did.

Girls on TourThe checking in process was very long,we were told we could check-in from 2pm but the rooms were not ready and had to wait until 2.30pm and then only 2 of the 3 rooms were together and the 3rd room was on a different floor. The rooms were booked for 3 people per room but only 2 towels and 2 mugs were left, we were given more but had to ask.On the whole we had a very nice experience staying at the hotel.

An Ok experienceI have to say it wasn't stunning but served it's purpose as I needed accomodation for the Take That show in Manchester. On arrival in the afternoon there were only a few people on the desk but the desk but the amount of people queueing to check in was ridiculous. When we had our key we got up to our 5th floor room and it didn't work so had to trek back down again even though the queue was still long to get it reactivated. The room itself was pleasant and clean, however the key failed to work again upon return after the concert. The bar staff were extremely friendly and gave us a pizza menu and recommended where we could get food delivered from.

Jury's Inn ManchesterThe hotel is very clean and comfortable. Stayed in a double room which was small but to a good standard. Bar and restaurant at the hotel are great, and very good location, with bars just around the corner and metro just opposite. Excellent value for money at £70 per room pn.
