Rubbish bathroom and food, but good staffThe toilet seat was broken as was the lino in the bathroom. The bath was clean but very old and faded. The remainder of the room was fine if a little old fashioned. The restaurant has a very limited menu (burgers etc) with ceaser salad being the only really healthy option. The waiting staff were very efficicent and friendly - highly commended! For the price it was ok, however my room was heavily discounted and I would not pay more than the £45 I did pay!

The roomm was small and without window, also there was no air andthe room very stuffy. The shower did not work and the outdated gadget failed to give fair distribution of cold and hot water. The bed was very hard, and the mattress appears to be without filling but the present of springs and wood was very prominent. There is no comparison to the least expensive room in the USA. The location was adequate and within reach of all amenities.

I was slightly apprehensive about staying at Sachas having read other reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very good and the staff could not have been more helpful. A very good central place to stay.

We arrived early, the reception was very helpful, stored our luggage till rooms were ready, giving us chance to view the vicinity, of which was superb, 2 minutes walk into the centre of the city, and a tram station within the same distance. The bed had a problem, with one phone call, the Manageress attended, and a New bed was brought up to the room, great nights sleep etc.

I was please to have a outer room (with window) this time, instead of a stuffy internal room, however, i think the aircondition is in need of a good repair, as our window room got cold and I had to use a portable fan heater (supplied). Overall, a pleasuable stay!!

old tv in room, no dvd player, lighting quite dim. our room above the front entrance so both nights there were all the smokers from the wedding parties congregated outside at regular intervals and were pretty loud as folk tend to be when drink is involved!we forgot our swimming costumes but the info in our room seemed to suggest we'd have to pay extra to use pool or gym.on the up side, although the decor in most o the hotel is dated and shabby, the room and bathroom was v clean

Hotel is tired and in need of a refurbishment. Room was adequate but we paid the extra ten pounds for a window; however it did smell of smoke. The room was clean but the bed had a number of broken springs that made it uncomfortable. Don't bother with the breakfast. On a positive the staff were polite and helpful.

It's a good place in a good location, if you need to stay in the Manchester City! However, a little expensive... Breakfast not included...

Hotel is handy for the shops and nightlife, but the rooms were bad.

Well presented but noisyWhilst we has no qualms whatsoever about the quality and cleanliness of the room other than a slightly too lumpy mattress the experience was totally marred by the sound of the heavy doors to other rooms slamming shut. I understand that fire doors are a health and safety must however no measures had been taken to reduce the impact noise and we were woken no less than every half an hour. This deemed the room totally unfit for the purpose of getting a good nights sleep.

Value for moneyHotel had an ideal location, right on the town centre but was not disturbed in the evening or night by noise. Hotel room could do with some up dating but was excellent value for money. Breakfast was great and had a large variety. Would definately stay again.
