we arrived by bus and jury's inn is one block away. surprisingly quiet. nice room with view of the river lee. great food, plus friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely place, poor response!A simple request, or series of requests, to repair the TV, was ignored. A 12 year old was very disappointed.

Bank Holiday Weekend May 2009Value for money has suffered because of £/Eu exchange rate so does not compare well with e.g Travelodge in England in this respect. Reception staff friendly and very helpful. Bedrooms OK as regards comfort of beds but very noisy - both road noise and, even worse, disturbance from other guests till 3am - and too hot. All bedroom doors slam very loudly and very difficult to prevent this happening. Food at dinner mixed - prawns good , steak tough, Bearnaise sauce unrecognisable and sickly. Buffet breakfast convenient but very average quality - mainly overcooked and tasteless. Good coffee. Overall a disappointing experience and not a chain I would revisit at that price.

Worst Hotel Experience EVER!!!I have to say, staying at this hotel was the most awful choice I've ever made. I thought the Jury's name over the door would guarantee me Quality of Service, Accomodation and an overall enjoyable atmosphere. How wrong I was!! From the poor service and information at check in to the lack of parking facilities or an attempt to cater for my needs, the whole experience was a nightmare. I shall never again use this particular Jury's but shall continue to use the Jury's hotels I've used before and know that I'll be looked after in!

Big problem here is the paper thin walls. I was kept awake all the first night by somebody's television (which was until at least 4.30 a.m!) and woken at regular intervals by the couple next door on subequent nights (They seemed to be enjoying themselves though!) For the price, I'd expect a bit better soundproofing. But the behaviour of other guests isn't entirely the hotel's fault, and the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and nicely presented. The bar food was a bit bland though. Very handy for Cork centre, and the railway and bus station too.

Friendly staff, food below average. Was put off by the flies in the bar area, which nobody made an effort to get rid off. On the plus side, clean rooms and very good access to the bus station and shopping centre. Wouldn't write home about it, but would use again.

Very cental position, with helpful, friendly staff. 4th floor room was very clean and comfortable, but very hot. We took advice from other reviews and asked for a room at the back of the hotel. It lacked any view but was quiet. We ate in the bar a couple of times and the food was good and reasonably priced.Excellent value for money.

We were a group of 6 (older - not too old) women staying for a weekend. We found the hotel and staff very helpful and pleasant.The rooms were clean and well equiped and we would definately stay there again. Thank you.

Get a river side room. I heard some loud shouting late at night behind the building. This is where some undesirables seemed to frequent.

The staff were generally helpful, the quality of the bedrooms leaves a lot to be desired, my supposedly non-smoking room stank, my smoking daughter agreed. Having stayed at a number of hotels in recent weeks in this price range this one offered the least for the most.

The hotel was easy to get to but parking was ad hoc. Why can't spaces be guaranteed? Or a charge made for all guest to cover the off-site parking - 8 euros a night soon adds up and was an unexpected charge. Good location, lovely helpful staff.

Judging by the prices displayed at the reception I am convinced that I could have booked our stay at a cheaper price if I had gone directly through the Juries website.

Fine location to visit the city, easy access to airport by bus, nice room for the money, but we had real problems to get a hot shower in three days (perhaps they should check the thermostate).
