We opted for executive floor privileges at extra cost. We were well worth it. Fantastic continental breakfasts, afternoon snacks, and cocktails. Hotel more than lived up to five star category.

The location is good but the rooms are very average. The rooms are cramped with barely enough space to walk around. If you're looking to stay in a good location and need a small room to sleep, this is a good hotel. If you're expecting better amentities, you'll be very disappointed, like we were.

Generally friendly staff, efficient when asked to be. Poor attention to detail, particularly housekeeping. Renovated room was old, tired, sometimes poorly designed. Room unspectacular, public spaces lack any charm or personality, and throughout the hotel suffers from lack of attention to detail: incompletely cleaned bathroom (same applied to hallways and lounge), toiletries or water provided or not, poor quality fruit, turn down or not.

"Highly recommended. The staff made our visit very easy and enjoyable. Small-ish rooms but spectaular harbour views and comfortable. Good position for shopping and touring. Can't say enough about the staff - wonderful experience overall, and would certainly return. Great job Marriott!"

Location is best. Bed is like a rock, small old dusty rooms, concierge clueless. I had an allergic reaction to something in the room. The bed was the hardest bed I ever slept on. The room is rather small. The location by Pacific Place and the convenience of having the subway system at the basement are huge positives.

"One of the best hotels in Hong Kong with top of the line service and beautiful rooms. All staff were great and location was very nice. Luxury touches throughout without it being stuffy. Truly a JW Marriott top property. The pool is fun for families and rooms are smoke free (a big deal for China). I have allergies and the rooms were very clean so i never suffered. Stay here, you will be very happy."

Great location and close to the MTR. The mattress are hard as cement. The hotel is great, well maintained and with a great staff. The mattress in the rooms should be improved as they are hard as a cement floor.

Very friendly and helpful service. Excellent location, very service-oriented staff, large comfortable room.

"On the doorstep is everything, a large shopping mall and the hotel is also right on top of the underground train which station is the interchange station - allowing you easy access to anywhere. The service is good as any Marriott does! "

The staff was amazing. The hairdryer was weak. Great for short stay, pretty expensive but the staff and the view from our room made it worth it. Upgrade to the Harbor View rooms, really great view.

"I have stayed at the JW Marriott 2 years running and am booked in again this year. I wouldn't risk staying anywhere else because it is a luxurious first class hotel. The location is great. The beds are too hard, but service/ammenities were excellent."

Business Friendly. But, Good For Leisure traveler, too. Staff showed the western people every kindness. But, they do not the Oriental people such a kindness. Mountain view is not good. But, I recommend sea view or harbor view to a romantic traveler.

"we stayed at another hotel on kowloon however we were set to come home only to find out when we arrived at the airport all flights to u.s. were cancelled because of typhoon. what a pitiful shame we had to stay in hong kong for two more days so we went to the marriott, what a good choice. everything was lovely!"

"I work for a high-end luxury hotel and the JWMarriott blows us out of the water. The service is first rate. The room was spacious with all modern amenities and a big view. Everytime I returned to my room, a fresh pot of tea and a basket of exotic fruit awaited me. The pool area offers a phenomenal view of the mountains and is large for lap swimming. It has the best location for everything with all the modes of transportation at your disposal. The Australian exec chef had the cleanest kitchen I've ever seen with a staff that was incredible. "

Location, staff. Old bathroom. Overall, JW Marriott is my favorite hotel in Hong Kong.

Sunday brunch was amazing. Restaurants are located in lobby area instead of top of hotel. Service at this hotel is fantastic. The views from the rooms are good, but not great. Be warned, as construction around the hotel continues, there will eventually be no view of the harbor. This could take a few years however. The fantastic service more than makes up for any lack of view. Plus you have the amazing Pacific Place mall under the hotel, with shops like Prada, Zara, Gucci, etc. You can also walk between the three hotels in the complete (JW Marriott, Island Shangri La and Conrad) without going outside. The Sunday brunch was the best Ive ever had. Piper Heideseck champagne and plenty of caviar.

Great location and staff. Left a small paperback book in the hotel room.

Hong Kong , allied to quality hotel. Slightly old fashioned room. Great hotel, but still in the 1990's.

Free access to gym and swimming pool is good. The room size is too small for a 5-star hotel. Clean and comfortable room with separate bathtub and shower. But, the room size is too small for a Marriott standard.
