Room rate was too high for type of hotel and room. Hotel needs renovation. Appears old compared with other competing hotels in area.

Clean. Basic accommodations and no frills. Would not use this hotel again.

Stayed at the Inns at the end of June 2007. Bottom line, if you are strapped for cash & don't take a lot of vacations, find somewhere else. If not, the view and the outdoor hot pool ALONE make up for it. Rooms are surely old. No air conditioning (mainly a winter resort, after all), but could have used it on an unseasonably warm Canadian day. Fixtures and furniture are dated. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Very few open outlets. Motel is in need of new management; just a few dollars invested in new things would make this place top rate... and worth the price they are currently asking. Best pillows I've laid my head on in years! I wanted to steal them. Two restaurants; one western and one oriental (ie, no continental breakfast). I sensed a bit of anti-american (military) sentiment by staff as reflected in the quality of service, but the food was great. Breakfast buffet in the morning, fairly reasonable in price.Again, if you are a couple like us spending a lot of hard earned money on 1 or 2 vacations a year, take the time to research more motels in Banff. You'll find much better for the same price. If money isn't a problem & you rarely spend time at a motel anyway, Inns is for you! If you are in between, remember the outdoor pool and the view to make up your mind!

very satisfied. we stayed at one of a better room with bigger bathroom. (building B) the room was spacious and nice bathroom. very comfortable stay. the hotel has a nice large outside hot tub where you can see beautiful canadian rockies. it is close to the downtown of banff, which was convenient too. i had really a nice time there; cant wait to return to banff!

Friendly staff and good location. Nearby to the downtown core of things in Banff. Nice hot pool. Hotel seems very old and dingy. Could hear noises from upstairs and outside of hotel room easily. Elevators were very old outdated. Hotel has friendly staff and good location, all which is nearby to the downtown core of things in Banff. Nice hot pool! But,hotel is very old and dingy where I could hear noises from upstairs and outside of hotel room easily. Elevators were very old outdated and slow.

I staied two night. Worthest service ever, this is all I can say.1)If you saty this hotel, and need internet connection, well, you need wireless. I called and asked but never told I need own divise... no internet for three days.2)If you saty more than one day, they won't change the bed sheets unless you ask for it, even it lookes very dirty. they didn't clean my coffee maker either.3)The fridge dosen't work. I called in and said it won't like a real fridge, just cold air...4)The front desk is not helpful at all

We loved the out door pool and the view. The entrances to the indoor parking were slippery and not well marked. The room was spacious and there were feather duvets on the beds. The out door hot pools were great. The check in was fast and informative. This is a large, wide spread facility so there can be a lot of walling. The indoor pool and hot tub is in the lobby and the out door pool is at the opposite end of the hotel.

We really enjoyed the outdoor hot pool. I expected a bit more for the money that we paid. The Swiss Village needs a good renovation.

The elevator was out of order and was stuck on our floor and was noisily opening and shutting. Slightly tired, but undergoing renovation.

Cleaning staff were great. Extremely noisy restaurant fan running from about 6:00AM to about 11:00 PM. Probably the oldest hotel in Banff that has not been renovated. No A/C. Opening window lets in cool air but also the extremely loud noise from the restaurant fan that runs from about 6:00AM to about 11:00 PM. Cleaning staff were great, restaurant was passable, desk staff were reasonably polite. But the hotel itself desperately needs renovations.

Friendly, good location to shopping. Halls were very dirty. All in all good hotel, need to clean the carpet in the halls.

Location. There are 2 buildings of hotel. I stayed at cheap side. The building where I stayed was ok, economy motel.

There is extra wash sink just outside of the bathroom which provides definite convenience when the washroom is occupied. Too noisy, old furniture and carpet, not so fresh smell.

Nothing. Cleanliness, appearance, value. This place looked so run down. I thought it was a one-star not a three-star.

Friendly staff, very helpful. Decor could use an upgrade. Restaurant very bland food. There was a room mix up when I checked in and the staff upgraded me to a junior suite at no extra charge. They were courteous and resolved the problem immediately. The location is pretty far from Downtown Banff, which made walking a chore. But, overall, it was a good place to stay.

It was clean and well located. Staff was helpful. On our first night we were in a room that was very noisy, as it was located near the ice machine and some type of generator. Overall, the hotel was very good. It was well located (approx. l mile from the town center). The first night, we were in a room that was in an adjacent building and noisy. However, the next morning, after complaining, we were given a better room in the main complex.

The roof top hot tub was amazing. The layout was sometimes confusing. The stay was excellent, the rooftop hot tub was fantastic.

Very friendly staff, beautiful exterior and lobby. Tight parking, cheap/noisy construction (thin floors that boomed when walked on), stained carpet, no AC. This was definitely not a two star hotel. The exterior and lobby were first rate, befitting an upscale hotel. They definitely cheapened out on the interior, however. The hallway floor boomed when anyone walked on it, even without shoes on. The carpet was stained, and there was no air conditioning (summer temperatures were close to 90 degrees F during our stay). Parking was very tight, and in our case it was located in an alley behind the building without room to turn around. The lobby area feels like it could be a Marriott, but the room definitely felt more like a basic Days Inn (and not the remodeled 5-Sunburst ones either).
