There are excellent transport links in the island and the hotel offer a free boat service (24hours) to and from St. Mark Square (10 min). The nearest train station Venice Santa Lucia is 15 minutes away and the Venice Marco Polo airport 30 minute away by water taxi. Private transfers can be arranged by the hotel. There is a harbour just in front of the Ciapriani hotel with docking facilities for yachts and boats of up to 70 feet.

The property is a 15th century building with views of the Venice Island, linked to the Hotel Cipriani through an ancient courtyard and flowered passageways. The Olympic size pool is the only one in central Venice, and has filtered salt water. In spring and autumn it is kept heated. There is a private tennis and golf course situated in a wonderful Venetian garden. There is a spa centre, hair salon and wellness centre that offer fabulous treatments.
