After much research on the Internet, we decided on Hotel Capitol but to realize those photos can be deceiving. Upon checking in, we had double confirmed with the frontdesk staff that the room they delegate to us had Doublebed however after we went into the room then we discovered it is Twin size bed. We ran down to the frontdesk and had a talked with the Manager on duty but she simply pushed it to one of the frontdesk staff. Simply Irresponsible !! We argued for around 20mins before they decided to switch room for us. This time round, we were been switched to a more spacious room but to our disgust there are tiny cockroaches crawling around in the wardrobe and the "boiling" kettle will not stop boiling the water unless you switch off the main switch. We were also disappointed with the Bathroom because the bathroom is small, toilet bowl is dirty, there are no bathtub and the shower-room's door can never be close. As we toss and turn, the bed is creeking for the whole night and the blanket had a foul smell. Well.... if you are not extremely hungry, I would suggest you not going for the Buffet Breakfast because there are not much varieties and most of the food are overcooked. eg. Ham and Waffle are too hard to be chew, Omelette turn out to be pan-fried egg, Bee Hoon are so hard that as if you are chewing onto a string.....etc. Talking about the location, I would say it is definitely worth staying because "Sungei Wang" & "BB Plaza" is directly opposite and 15mins walking distance to Berjaya Times Square.

Great location, nice bathroom andadequate mattress. Carpet and bedspread showing some wear and stains. Great location, simple but adequate. Room was clean, but the bedspread had a stain and the carpet was showing some wear.

Overall a satisfactory stay, and the staff was courteous. However this hotel has few facilities (no pool, spa, limited dining), but the location right smack in the KL shopping/nightlife area more than makes up for it.

It was my first visit to KL, and so choosing a hotel is a difficult task. My friend recommended me this hotel, and I have no regrets at all. But it will be good if the room has bottled drinking water available, other than that, everything is thumbs up! Will stay in this hotel again for my next visit!

Location, view of the twin towers from the room, convenience to sites. Great value for the money, higher floors would be better to decrease street noise.

Possibly the most conveniently located hotel for food and shopping in the tourist area -Jalan Alor hawkers, close to a huge range of restaurants from very the cheap to the very best. Also next door to Low Yat Plaza, best for electronic goods such as computers and phones as well as the BB Plaza and Sungei Wang Plazas for general merchandise including cameras. Walking distance to monorail station. This hotel is peerless for location but don't expect a swimming pool or other luxuries. It has a good laundry service. Generally excellent value if your priorities are shopping and eating.

Hotel Capitol situated at a very good location, just beside a few big shopping mall in Bukit Bintang. However, it doesn't have its own carpark. We have to park the car in a public carpark in the shopping mall opposite the hotel. Not very convenient if you have a lot of lugguage and with family. Need to walk quite a far distance before you reach the hotel lobby. At night, not many cars in the carpark, not very safe. Hotel can only allow you to park in front of the hotel for drop-off or pick-up only.

Spacious room, comfortable beds. This hotel has it all. A pity though that it's spoilt by the less than ideal receptionists that I encountered. The first lady, by the name of Siti, insisted that I had to make an addition payment on top of the deposit that I had paid. It was after my persistent insistence that she finally realised her mistake, and that a refund was due to me instead! Whilst all these were happening, another receptionist, Linda (her name tag was worn upside down) was not only unhelpful, but also gave a black face and demanded to know why I was questioning them. If I had not insisted that I was right and given in to them, I would have been overcharged!
